Dahlminator is a unique E-tech pistol manufactured by Dahl in Borderlands 2. It is obtained from the mission The Lost Treasure located in Sawtooth Cauldron. The Dahlminator is a standard Dahl E-tech Dart pistol with a guaranteed corrosive elemental capacitor. As Dart projectiles also ricochet, this weapon is excellent at hitting enemies behind cover without much thought has to be put in to predict where the projectile will go. The fixed element limits its utility to armored targets, but makes it particularly useful against such enemies as they often can be dangerous to face in the open. Fires slow-moving, homing projectiles. Upon impact, projectiles stick to the enemy (or surface) briefly before exploding, dealing corrosive damage in a small area. Projectile bounces if they hit an inert surface. Just like any other Dart, Gaige can make excellent use of this weapon by combining this with Anarchy stacks. However, at high Anarchy stack counts, the initial projectile angle may be too steep to home on target before hitting an obstacle (wall/ground included), preventing it from dealing any damage. Like all E-Tech pistols, the Dahlminator cannot inflict critical damage.
A hotfix on 10/12/13 increased the stability and magazine size of the Dahlminator and all other Dahl pistols as part of the Borderlands 2 $100,000 Loot Hunt.
