The L3P are excellent! Glad you finally had a chance to review them. Oh, and I agree about the treble. Definitely needs to be dialed back a bit but after that these truly shine.
This review is as good as it can be, you are the only youtuber who solved all my possible doubts, with image and details, thank you so much and please don't stop doing this high quality work 👏🙌
Thank you very much Ricardo 😊 this means a lot to me as I've spent multiple days working on just the script (and even accidentally deleted some in the process!), and everything else in the process I'll keep on doing my best! 🔥
Excellent review Kenneth! Anker Soundcore has indeed been doing a great, great job! They nailed it with the Q30s in the headphone category. Their other TWS in ears are also pretty good. I own both the Q30 and the Life P3 from them. Very good to see your review as well. It means that they nailed it, again!
@@Doviruses.existbaileyonodysee I would absolutely do the same, no matter how much you care for plastic headphones over time they'll wear down, crack, and eventually snap 😂 experienced that first hand although on beats studio 3
Hey Kenneth great video! Appreciate the effort put into testing this earbuds. I have a question, @16:00 you said that liberty leaks a bit of wind noise when compared to apple buds but in the video you showed putting the 1 more and edifier neo. So, does that mean edifier and 1 more are also better than liberty in terms of wind noise reduction?
Hi Kenneth, is the liberty3 pro more comfortable than the neobuds pro for long-hour wearing? I've gotten the 1more comfobuds pro but as you've mentioned in your reviews, it lacks bass. Would you recommend any earbuds with good overall "balance" for running purpose?
Thank you for the amazing review ken. Is this better than Tronsmart Apollo Bold considering the price? I'm looking for a replacement because my TAB was broken, and I love that tws 😭
Great Review as always, Ken. But as for touch controls, the crown has to go with the VERY underrated JLab Epic Air ANC. Despite being over 2 years old now, not only can you customize the controls with everything, but with these, you can even change your EQ settings (custom and stock) on the fly. This is extremely handy if you use TWS to listen to music, podcasts, movies, and videos, which have different EQ optimizations.
Sal, this sounds like a really cool and easy feature for others to copy, even with an app update, assuming JLab didn't try to patent it. It does beg the question, when a tree falls in the woods does it make a sound. And by that I mean, when you EQ your earbuds, is the EQ setting read from the app, or can you experience the same cycling of EQ on a laptop with the phone in another far-away place?
Awesome and very thorough review on the LP3, Kenneth! 🙌 I do have a somewhat unrelated question, though. Do you think the QCY T5 are the best price to performance tws option for 'low latency' gaming on an android device that you've tested so far? Keep up the great work! 👏
Hi Kenneth! I've been binge-watching your videos because I am in search of a new wireless earbuds. I was hoping you could make a video on your top 5 earbuds under the price tag of 100USD. I am currently using Tronsmart Onyx Ace and I feel like I need to upgrade to an earbud that sound better and clearer because the Onyx is much more bass than I would like, any recommendations?
Thanks for the review. Yeah, it took a long time to get your opinion on this) What I got from it, they are better than xm4 ( by money-quality ), but what about NeoBuds Pro? Can we get full comparison of these 3? Or maybe 4, with airpods
Great info review, thanks Kenneth! I think I found the perfect earbuds (for me). The JLab JBuds Air Pro is a multipoint with all features included (except Track Backwards). I hope you get a chance to give it a test and compare it others like L3P
I got a pair of Soundcore Liberty Air 2 and also find the highs to be a bit piercing (but the overall sound is way better than Soundpeats H1). When you use the app to dial in the EQ, does that burn into the earbuds' hardware so that it will stay with that custom EQ across any device you use? My H1's remember EQ settings permanently, but my Liberty 2 Airs with the Soundcore app lose their EQ once I put them in the charger (but retain custom controls). So, every time I use the buds, I have to connect to my phone, open the app, apply my EQ... every. single. time. Is this just a Soundcore thing? This not only is annoying, it makes using these buds with devices other than my phone (like my Apple TV) kind of painful (piercing highs). Soundcore imho make some of the clearest sounding buds around... and they are one of the only earbud companies to offer XL eartips (the only ones that seal my ears).
How does the sonic pro fight against the other buds at its price range? I am looking at it, because it has 15 hours of time. I want a tws with most battery life. Would really appreciatr your help. Thanks!
Just ordered a pair myself from Amazon they come tomorrow looking forward to using them for jogging and training and at £89 I think they are a sound buy from the reviews I have seen.
Excellent review men ! Been waiting for longtime to hear your thoughts 🤣 welp I'm also enjoying this earbuds and can u give eq that more to balance ? I want to try it.second if u have a choice what your personal fav of earbuds?👀
Almost bought this. Everything seemed to be almost perfect after hours of listening in the retail store, but the handling (both wearing and putting back into case) is too inconvenient, partially defeating the main purpose of a tws. I really hope the next generation could fix this
What do you recommended for call/zoom meeting from these 2 tws: baseus encok wm01 or 1more pistonbuds? I already watch your videos but still cant decide😅
As always you made great reviews on these earbuds. Love them... I am just wondering the mic quality of a neck band compare to these ear buds. Are neck bands has better mic / voice pickup?
Glad you think so! And I don't think the quality of mic is determined by the style, especially in neck band since they are located quite far away from the mouth (except if the have very long cables)
Hi Kenneth! Great review! How would you compare these to the Edifier Neobuds pro in terms of comfort, ANC, and sound quality? with quite the marginal difference in price, the only thing holding me back on getting the neobuds pro are the lack of multipoint and full controls on the edifiers. Based on performance of the three things I mentioned above, how would you compare these to the Edifiers? and which would you recommend between the two? Thank you! Salam dari Indonesia!
Hey Jovan, in short you get what you paid for here, the Edifiers are great but Soundcore is another step up not only on the SQ, but also the design, features, etc. If you have the budget I recommend Soundcore, but the Edifiers are plenty fine as well
Very useful feedback on LDAC making the battery life too compromised. I mean we all gotta use a bit of common sense too, in terms of how much data is overkill and not audible for most types of music.
Good day. Love your content. Recently lost my tiil t1 lite. What would be a good upgrade around its price? Also considering rebuying it coz i love how it sounds.
Hey Francis, sorry to hear that man, I currently am liking the Haylou W1 as an upgrade to the W1 (you can see I compared it to FIIL T1 Lite a bit here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cPi8in6yZRA.html) but you'll lose volume control in the process so it's your pick
L3P masih worth it gak ya buat di 2023? Karena liat harganya yang lg diskon plus review nya yang bagus, masih nimbang nimbang mau ambil L3P atau Sony Linkbuds S......
Hey kenneth you're a reliable man! can the soundpeats h1 match its sound quality? you are the only reviewer saying that h1 has moms care both of you says my wife
Nice review. I tried this sometime ago and found them very uncomfortable for my ears, despite trying all the ear-tip/wingtip combos. Never got a comfortable seal. ANC surprisingly didn’t sound great for me either. Maybe I got stuck with a lemon, but I returned mine. 😅
which earbuds do you think has best mic and anc? I'm now having doubts on purchasing L3p 😅 i need earbyds that has great call quality for i will mainly use it for calls
Hi, thanks for the review. I can't make up my mind on which earbuds to buy. I'm constantly shifting between the soundcore L3P and the edifier neobuds pro. Maybe you can help me out. I'm a fun music listener, love sub bass, anc and wide soundstage. I don't really bother about transparency, water resistance, comfort, and other gimmicks. Fun sound quality is all what matters to me. Help please!
Lol why am I the weird one for liking the 3D surround sound setting 🤣 Have a custom EQ for comparison but 9/10 times, I end up preferring how the 3D surround sound kinda tightens the bass and makes the vocals more forward (just wish it could tone down the treble a little in that setting even though I actually like treble)
Haha I found like one or two songs that sound pretty good on it but on others not so much, it comes back to people’s preference right ✌🏻 Curious how many out there also prefer 3D Surround Sound 😆
These does sound to be an excellent alternative. Maybe I'll give it a shot after I get over in ear discomfort 🤣. Btw have you seen the Tronsmart Onyx Ace Pro? Looks to be a succesor to the Onyx Ace but with some improvements. Definitely worth looking into seeing how great the Ace was, to an extent
Haha sure thing! Thanks for the heads up it's been a while since I checked out Tronsmart, and like you said especially the Ace it needed a chip upgrade so much
These tempted me, but I still can't find a reason to leave the UTWS series of TWS adapters. I'd love to hear your take on them, especially the newer TWS5 with the newer qualcom chips, only real downside is the lack of ANC which I know some people care about. But being able to use any wired IEM I want in a TWS configuration is kinda unbeatable by all in one packages.
I struggle to find a good sub 100$ harman or near harman target tws. What are your best recommendations? Btw very good reviews, just found about you today, underrated youtuber! :)
Thank you for the sub first of all! At the moment what comes across my mind is the Moondrop Sparks, though it's a slightly modified version of harman target (Moondrop's VDSF) I can't think of anything else that tries to achieve this 🤔
@@namedkenn thank you so much. Another reviewer also suggested this to me. Keep up the good work, I’m glad to find another audiophile youtuber that is good. I think a lot of the traditional audiophiles don’t like to admit that wireless is the future so they don’t review many tws buds, but I firmly believe that sooner or later there will be a new wave of wireless buds capable of playing lossless audio. Also I think I like that tuning more than the harman target.
I have read many user reviews complaining about Connections issues especially with lots of Bluetooth users around like say at a Gym. What is your experience?
Thank you so much! Like I said in the video you get what you paid for, generally this offers a more polished experience while also sounding better if you're into bass
@@namedkenn I bought the earbuds and im pleasantly surprised K just wnn make the bass quicker and not as boomy and tame the higs more with your preset because the treble is super clean but a is a tad too much
Question to Kenneth or anyone: If you find that -6 db isn't far enough to chase a particular frequency down, is it a legitimate hack to just push your entire flat curve up, say to +2, and then go -6 on that boomy frequency? It seems like, looking at your preferred EQ, that you have room to push mids up, and then make your preferred deeper differentiation in that sub bass frequency. I'm only asking because it does seem like a reasonable way for anyone who finds that the eq push doesn't give them enough room yet they're not using the allowances above 0db.
Would love to hear others' opinion about this! Seems like it'll work but I'll have to check it out first. Honestly how did I come up with these EQs are by playing with the sliders one by one, pushing them to the max and min to see what difference they make, and then find the sound that I like. It's not perfect and it's a very personal thing, but I figured it's worth sharing anyway. And at the end of the day I try to find how these different earbuds sound the best at their own characters (for example V-shaped, bass heavy, clear and airy)
@@namedkenn - I had a signal processing class in university where we learned about how DSP works, but that was 30 years ago, so don't remember and even if I did, things may have changed. I'm sure this works, but not sure if it's the best for trying to keep the sound clean. BTW, I just got my Liberty 3 Pros and they are smoking good compared to anything I've tried before.
hello, great channel, can you please recommend some earbuds up to $ 40-50 max, i watched a bunch of videos and don't even know what to buy anymore, specifically i only use earbuds in the gym, i listen to EDM, Trance, Hip Hop, so only what i care on earbuds is loud volume, good bass and battery life.... what ive found so far are these models - EDIFIER TWS1 Pro, SOUNDPEATS Sonic, if you may have another model to recommend and what to choose, thank you
If you haven't choosen already go with the Soundpeats Sonic. Has more Bass for the music you like to listen too. The Edifiers have better high to mid ranges and also has better call quality, but you want good sound so go Soundpeats.
I find these headphones to be too bass heavy, I have lower them in the eq and there is still too much bass even in -6? What can I do? Because everything else of these headphone I love and I can get use the treble but the bass is too much for me
@@namedkenn ohh thank you I tried everything but I think im gonna try to get used to the bass. The treble sounds too artificial the other way. Especially the mids
Great review 👍.. L3p offer a lot for that amount but for me there is big disadvantage about them except for battery life with ldac and it's the size of them and wear them with hood or with winter hat 😐 so I'll stay with my sennheiser momentum 2 🙂
Thanks for watching as always Peter! 🙌🏻 size is definitely an issue since these protrude quite a bit from the ear, hope I could check out the Momentum 2 next!
@@namedkenn there are also other sony's top tier hybrid foam/silicone tips : Sony Triple Comfort EP-TC50L but they are very expensive for me just to testing 😅
My opinion, 1. Even im not a basshead, but idk why i do admire L3P bass. I use the word the bass is "soo..sexy". Mid is nice, treble really clear even sibilance in some songs.(like alanis's "you learn". 2. Referring to prev exp with L2P,and LA2 pro, Hearid really works for me. But L3P , Hearid kinda fail. Thats frustrating me. 3. Hearid off, sound turns to "amazing".( After a week long). Im glad i decided to choose it.even not cheap (for me). 4. Just saying.
Honestly, anything would be an upgrade, well sound wise yeah because the Sabbat is quite feature packed for the price What's your budget? Let's say around 50USD you can get the Soundpeats TruEngine 3SE, or if you fancy some ANC/Transparency and have some more budget the Edifier NeoBuds Pro is a great pick
Appreciate it Jabesh! And just to answer the question real quick, I wanted to emphasize how you're getting what you paid for here, the NeoBuds Pro is great, but the L3P is generally more polished and thus better 😁
i try to add it in this comment, but no chance. I cut a link and own names of apps. nope, there's still something wrong. I want to write about sound quality and a great and easy way to tune L3P flat, with 20-band equalizer, using a picture of frequency response
Okey nice for you! You've been on a 3 months test! Time to leave the internet again! Here we test zenwatches and say the heartbeat didn't work because nobody found out you needed to keep youre fingers on the bezel after the reading and then it calibrates to the right heartbeat
The Sony is there although more expensive, and you can turn down the bass even more on the NeoBuds Pro, or the 1more ComfoBuds Pro is still a solid pick ‘til this day
