Roxanna, your videos are always planned and created so beautifully, and this one is no exception! Tiramisu is one of my favorite deserts. I've worked for an Italian for many years, and this is always the cake I would buy for his birthday. I really should make it myself the next time since I have the recipe now! I finally received 2 of the books I ordered.....Old World Italian and Italian Country Cooking. I will not receive the the third book, The Artist The Cook and the Gardner since the seller made a mistake. 😞But these 2 books are beautiful, just as you said! The recipes, the images, the stories, are all so wonderful, and they make a great addition to my cookbook collection. Thank you!
Oh thank you! And I am so glad you like them! I was just going through old world Italian last night. It’s so beautiful. I hope the other one arrives soon. And yes, who knew it was so simple to make. I used to buy it from our local bakery myself and then decided to give it a shot. I was shocked how simple it was. I got my ladyfingers ready for Easter. Chef Jean Pierre makes a cake as base instead of the cookies. Apparently, the cookies get too soggy. Then in paints the cake layer with a rubber brush. Just a thought.
