I've been stuck on a pitch I've been working on. This brought it all into perspective and helped me organize my thoughts. I don't usually comment on RU-vid, but this was worth it! Thanks, Patrick!
I love, love this. "I Help X, Achieve Y, by doing Z " and the story starting with a problem and ending with a solution! BOOM! I just created my elevator pitch, thanks!
This video is fantastic, Patrick. I'm giving a 2-min pitch for $40K next week and already I'm feeling so much more confident about it! Thanks for sharing your wisdom.
I'm a first year MBA student, and this was the perfect formula for an elevator pitch. I have 30 seconds to make my pitch, and you're formula/advice worked perfectly. Thanks Patrick.
Yes I have a 1 minute elevator pitch and I've never done this b4 one more day to get it practice and memorize it...not too mention they are prob gonna ask me questions 🤔😒🤪🙂
This video has been so helpful. I just wrote 3 one sentence pitches right after I watched this and just finished the story part of one of them. Thanks a ton. I may have been spinning wheels for way too long if not for finding this video.
This is great for a new comer like myself with no education background on businesses and consulting but I'm trying something new and needed to go in the right direction this video was very informative I really appreciate content like this!! Thank you 🙏🏻
Fantastic video! My key takeaway is to keep things simple and stay true to yourself. When sharing a story, it’s important to stick to the truth. By being open, honest, and using real-life examples, your pitch will flow naturally. Always maintain authenticity in your presentations. Remember, while you’re showcasing your value, don’t let nerves get the best of you. After all, we’re all human!
Wow Patrick, I've seen tons of videos which tells us to tell stories; that and that; Didn't got nothing from them really until I came up with this video.. This exactly teach you the way that we gonna have to do it and also explains with examples.....You're the GOAT mate!❤Much LOVE!
This was extremely useful Patrik !! Thank you so much. I love your work. You inspire me and my team to think out of the box every time we hear you. Keep up the fantastic work you're teaching us.
Great tutorial. This helped me break down my pitch and simplify it. I kept writing it down until it got clearer and more succinct. Sounds much better! Thanks!
My takeaway - explaining ‘why’ they should do it, ‘what’ they would achieve and then getting into the ‘how’ it would be done. This sequence is very imp Thanks a lot for this video :)
I’m going to participate in an international workshop and strugling how to impress and connect with people in my area. I was very nervous since I am not very fluent in english but your turorial is showing me the way. Thanks a lot.
Thank you so much. I've been fretting and fretting about a pitch I need to write for a small business workshop I took and now I have a rough draft. Just like that!
Patrick this video outlined in the most simplest breakdown. I have just started a clothing business and I definitely want to bring in customers. Your video helped significantly
I like the examples of this video. Basically they are aligned with Sales method from Daniel Priestley, but it's easier to process (or at least gives another perspective) when you see some "real world example". Thanks!
This is a great video and I love the examples. I’m struggling with adapting it to physical products that are “luxury goods”, like art and collectibles. I’d love to see a video geared towards pitching those products.
Super Clear and easy to understand. The purpose of the story in particular, which I didn't get before. But its the oldest tool there is really to engage people and now you point it out, obvious why we should use it.
Thanks, Patrick! this was really helpful. I'm working on my business pitch, and you were able to explain how to sell my services without feeling or sounding like I'm on the sales floor :) much appreciation for your knowledge!
Thanks Patrick! I'm gonna use this for work in pitching a project to my board. This is a very easy to apply micro-skill. Great and engaging video too, was entertained the whole way.
wow thank you so much for this, i am new to giving pitches and this helped so much. My number one take away was implementing a story my business was actually brought about because of my own story with being HIV Positive so its the story i can tell with confidence
Thanks for sharing your story. Yes, people usually resonate with personal stories because they'll know the real motivation behind the business. Best of luck!
Thank you Patrick, your example is specific and relevant. It definitely helped in putting my thoughts together. My number one takeaway from this video is your elevator pitch should begin with one simple, impactful line - I help X achieve Y by doing Z. Aced it!
As a trained salesman when people try to start these conversations with me I already know where it is going. Plus I know how to look for the gotchas. Being well versed in a broad range of topics there really isn't much out there that I would be interested in doing with some stranger I just met on an elevator or elsewhere. I rather do it myself whenever possible. Also what he is talking about has been around for about many decades.
