Yeah it doesn’t seem right does it? In my opinion he should keep it “clean” because it actually works for him. I don’t mind rough language but it doesn’t suit this guy.
If it's possible to make a Transformer that looks this good, and Transforms, I'd obviously rather that, but that's not stopping me from getting this dude ASAP. He's been my most anticipated release outside of SS86 Prime, and we've officially known about this guy longer!
This design that i want to see in live-action movie. G1 looking but in much more modern design. Yes this design made me easily to recognizable who this guy is. That's the live-action movie Sideswipe that i want to see in live-action film. Awesome video, PrimevsPrime, transform and ROLL OUT 🤗!
This guy is pristine which feels like a change in direction from the earlier waves. Wave 1 OP and Bumblebee had a gritty deco. They looked more war-torn and had scuffed paint detail and so on. Swipe and the upcoming Jazz look like they just stepped off the showeoom floor though. Im wondering if this is why they released the G1 paint variants of OP, Bee, and Megatron. As in this is going to be a line wide shift.
If so I hope it's more of a blend of G1 with Bayverse blades and optional skate wheels. Kinda like the pop-up book design. You'll see it if you look up Aligned continuity Sideswipe.
@@GamiCross when it comes to their Transformers, Threezero priorities the quality of the character in their robot form, so things such as paint detailing, articulation, the materials used to make the figure, and etc. For their Transformers from their “MDLX” line, they take the g1 designs and modify/ redesign them to give them a higher detailed look. Also if I remember correctly, apparently third party companies who are given the official license by hasbro, they aren’t allowed to make transformable figures, only hasbro or Takara Tomy.
@@GamiCross that’s why when you do see third or fourth party makes transformable transformers, they aren’t officially licensed. It’s also why you won’t see the figure have their insignia on them or even be for sale using their actual name, and will use some other name to get around being able to sell the figure.
It's a niche request, but would love if figures were made of the Autobots when they masqueraded as the Stunticons. Maybe standard figures with repaint, but perhaps more than that (and replace Windcharger, I know its canon and for a story reason, but he doesn't match).
I remember having this guy as an action master figure with very limited articulation. I probably gonna buy him, he looks really awesome. Now i wonder about his fists, why do they look so much better than the VF-1 toy Threezero released recently?
I've heard that threezero has the designs to transform the figures they have. They don't have the right to make them transform at this time. I don't know how true it is, but they would probably become one of the best if they transformed.
I'm gonna be a bit of a nitpicky douche, and state that the 'window louvres' on the back of the legs are DIABLO, not COUNTACH. SORRY, just wanted to state for accuracy's sake. I still think the figure is gorgeous, and I GOTTA get one!
THis is not a blend of G1 and Live Action. This is what Live Action should aspire to be. He could have been in the Bumblebee movie and would not look out of place.
6:38 yes but: the movies were born off of bumblebees character but then everyone and their mom who doesn’t know who the frick ironhide is will see sideswipe and go *OMG THAT GUY*
Strange, how is it that I've managed to get my hands on the new Studio Series Skywarp before this guy? Normally it's the other way around. And I found mine at Walmart yesterday😅
I cannot understand for the life of me why ThreeZero keep going with those tiny, flimsy ball joints for hip skirts. My right-rear one on Rodimus pops off if you so much as glance at it, and it makes me nervous as hell.
