Your videos are at least partly responsible for my buying the AS-D2. So, thank you. I used a fresh Persona Blue in mine this morning. This combination works great for me. I will try the Feather blade when my order finally arrives. That reminds me, has anyone else been experiencing 'difficulty' in ordering bulk packs of blades? Three times in this past month I placed orders only to have the sellers back out. I've experienced this with Wizamet's and Voskhod's. Sometimes a consequence is more than just a consequence.

Nice quick video. Being in the military I have to shave every day and use my Merkur 34C with Astra Superior Platinum blades. Just ran out of my Taylor of Old Bond Street Sandalwood shaving cream, and only thing i can get in this country is the Arko Shave stick so im going to give that a shot. Then finish up with some BX special (Generic brand) Witch Hazel. Never have any irritation. Perfect fit for me!

There are many great razors for every day shaving, i prefer my EJ89 or Rockwell 6C

If the blades weren't so damn expensive, i buy 100 DE blades for $10-$15 .. get about 5-6 shaves per blade. Way cheaper than mach 3 which are about $10/5 blades so 100 of those would cost you aprox $200 ... but to some, it's only money

Dear Geo, I am just wondering for a beautiful Christmas present. A Tatara Masamune or a Feather AsD2, I'm a daily Shaver, mostly 2 passes a day, BBS it's for sure not a must to have. Which one you personally do prefer?

Mmmmmm, I’d have to disagree with you on that one Geo.... the razor itself; yes, I agree. It’s one of the most precisely designed and machined DE’s available(one of my top three), but the Feather double edge blades are way too unnecessarily sharp. I can’t stand them. :-( But, that’s just my experience. ....the downfall of having soft facial skin.

TONE Scott It's gonna sound weird but I have a really sensitive skin, and I use the Parker 99R with Feather Blades and honestly I didn't know they were so good. Didn't cut, no burns, no irritation, nothing, just pure clean shave, really close shave though.
