Now THAT is a Supra done right.... Not to say there isn't plenty out there that are as well, but this example is CLEAN and very well taken care of. Beautiful example! The Supra will always be a street racing icon. Still spanking booties after 20 years....
Have you ever thought about going a more responsive turbo/setup, dexter? Im currently running the same power as you, but lots more response/torque. It also helps put power down. I make 300rwkw by 3000rpm, 1050nm at 5250rpm, 600rwkw at 5500rpm, 600rwkw at 7500rpm, dropping down to 580rwkw at 8500rpm. Thats 3000rpm of max power. You never have to wait for power. I have more power at 3000rpm than a v8 Camaro does when you are wringing its neck.
Team Spintop that’s a nice setup. However I think the setup I have is perfect. Sometimes a little bit of lag is good for the street because the car is a little bit more controllable.
@dexter ennis man i love how you built that supra, i'd probably get something like that or rx7 with straightforward build rather than typical supercar.
@@dexlex2002 You did it right, my man. That is one of the cleanest, upgraded yet unmolested Supras I have ever seen. Congratulations, and much respect! Treat your baby well.
Saying 800hp is not too much is really otherwordly. Is like living in a car paradise after death. What a great life you have dude.👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻 that’s my dream
Just a driver's, driver car... Super clean. "I have the AC on now". Not well done or raw. Just middle rare, just how I like it. Love the car man. I'm a skyline type of guy. But this is simply amazing 😍😍😍
Clean Build! I have the same 6766 Precision Turbo/Pro EFI Management in my MKIV but where I live there's no E85 anywhere near me so I'm stuck at 20lbs of boost😢 My engine is fully built with Eagle rods and JE Pistons so if one day an E85 station comes within 2 hours round trip I may turn the boost up but I'm sitting at 560whp until then.
Great car Dexter! Love the simplicity, and the fact you wanted it as a Road friend car, with response and reliability! From another Supra lover in Australia!
This is the type of car I want to build. It’s not crazy high HP. It’s not loud and rowdy. It’s definitely fast. The emphasis he put on smooth is spot on.
This is one of the nicest Supras I've ever seen. Smooth delivery, simple, clean, nice body kit. Dexter said that it was his weekend car and I believe him because that thing is immaculate, you could eat off of that engine bay lol.
If you get a TRC interview and come across a tunnel, go WOT through the entire tunnel and keep WOT till there's nothing left to drive under. Let her sing for the internet!
THAT IS A AWESOME SUPRA... THAT WHAT I LIKE ... GREAT BUILD .. 800 HP .. STILL SMOOTH .. BUT ENOUGH POWER TO HAVE FUN WITH IT ... JUST LIKE HE SAID.. FUN TO DRIVE AND SHOW .. DEPENDABLE .. AND DON'T BREAK THE BANK... GREAT VIDEO.!!
People who don't really know what 800hp is but THINK they know. 600 horsepower is a sh*t ton on your average street. That is a high 10 to mid 11 second car depending on weight, etc...Do people even really know how fast and dangerous that can get?
Roughly yes, 450-460rwkw. 137mph - 1.5 60ft, Circut setup suspension/alignment. 315/30/18 Toyo R888's, 6 Speed, crossing the line in 4th with a 3.2 final drive.
Lol I think you’re trying to get at that there’s a brother tuning besides putting 24s and long horn on a car sittin sideways boys in the day or ghost riding the whip
Not by a longshot. You should attend a Cars and Coffee in Great Falls, VA. Saturday mornings. Starts around 6AM. High end shizz! I'm right outside of DC.
I love it! nothing too obnoxiously look at me type of mod, clean and simple build but power is there when you punch it. It looks to me that the owner is babying it a little bit, I am not convince that the car hits the limit from this video lol. It looks like it is capable for more. I am demanding part 2 video hitting the rpm redline through the tunnels!!! :)
@@frontspring1 i know what he meant; there's a MK4 Supra stereotype; stock body kit with big tires= Big Power. Body Kit nice wheels= Not so much power.
Milkman69ner Well, even though I love harsher drivers with higher powered 2JZ's way more, the most important thing to me is that it's all good if you're just enjoying your build, which I'm sure this guy definitely does. I can't say more though, because I'm 18 and I've never owned a Supra nor have I seen one in real life before. Heck, I don't even have a driver's license yet! All I can do for now is to just sit here and wait until I hopefully have enough time and money to get my driver's license and to make my unrealistic pipe dream of ever owning a powerful Supra and driving it hard come true...
Roger Aydin That’s a good dream. But maybe you don’t have to buy an actual subra. because there expensive ( if 20k is expensive) why not buy the 2jz engine and throw it in some other car. Of course 2JZ engine aren’t cheap either and you need to be pretty knowledgeable about cars.
Super sick! So clean and noice. You have a super sweet ride there Dexter. I'm building my new to me 91 3000gt vr4 tt and I can't wait to get on your level my friend. Thanks for the push. Lol
