I love how you are highlighting the beauties in so many out of the way places in the US that "no-one" ever goes; you're always so curious and excited about discovering where you are, it's the best. :)
Ok, I'm devastated. I thought you both stopped uploading for months - I'm still subbed, but you haven't been in my subscription feed for MONTHS! I'm so grateful I just looked up your channel to see if there were any updates. Now going to binge-watch the past few months worth of videos.
Omg y'all, I'm from Bardstown! May or may not have screamed a little when I saw the title and realized you all stayed at the Jailer's Inn. Glad you enjoyed your time! ...ps, all the traffic and noise is the semi-trucks that have to go through the roundabout to get to the distilleries, there's never been a bypass built around downtown which is what has kept it lively all these years. Enjoy your time in KY!
Hey Eric, you should do a compilation of all of Allison's sayings plus her weird adjectives! 😂 "Maybe thats why they call it a chamber pot!" "Oh, it smells like all my desires" Shes too cute!!!
Oh man! So jealous. My husband and I love whiskey and bourbon. My hubby is even an ambassador for Maker's Mark and has a barrel aging right now with his name on it! Loved seeing around Kentucky and can't wait to get there.
NO WAY! I am from Bardstown! That’s awesome I never would of thought you guys would come here. I have been watching you guys for years. I work at the local Marriott in town if you guys ever come back we would love to have you
You guys are sooo inspiring! Just LOVE your energy and enthusiasm! This jail reminds me of the one you stayed in Inveraray Scotland. Remember that? That was your first video I watched that inspired me to start my travel channel too! Sending loads of love xx
Wow! You guys were right up the road from me. We like to hit up Bardstown every once in a while. I figured they had the giants fenced off due to COVID. Bernheim is nice to visit in the Spring when everything is blooming.
We went to the Jim Beam distillery a few years ago. $10 for anyone 21 and older, 21 and younger were free. It was awesome, it's my favorite brand so it was like coming home.
Glad you love my state. I live a scant 25 miles away from Bardstown in Elizabethtown. Talbott Tavern and Bernheim Forest is among my favorites! Sorry you didn't get to stay longer or see more of Bernheim. The views at the top are beautiful! Safe travels!
Start downtown at Alltech Lexington Brewing and Distilling Co., where you'll take a tour of the brewery and distillery and taste both micro-beers and bourbons.
You guys are so much fun to watch!!! I seriously watch your videos with so much inspiration and take-aways on how I can up my vlogs :) As always, thank you for being amazing!
I live in Louisville Kentucky. Thank you for a wonderful video. You did us justice! Just one thing - in Kentucky we don't call it whiskey, we call it Bourbon. LOL We go to Bardstown, my kids and grandmidgets, and spend the day. It is such a beautiful place.
I used to work at the Barton plant in California. This brings back memories! Lucky enough to have had a chance to visit one of the plants in KY as well.
Hi ya! Because of the travel restrictions I soooooo miss my favourite bourbon tipple (JD maple), which I can only get from my visits to the USA. Your brilliant video just reminds me of how much I enjoyed it.😭😭😂😂. You guy’s, Yet another enjoyable watch as per usual. xx
This was fun! That distillery had loads of history and charm. The jail Airbnb was cozy, and the giants were really cool. Thanks for sharing, and happy trails. 🤓
I went to Bardstown in September. Such a cute little town. We did the Barton tour as well. It was my favorite and most detailed tour. Love the rickhouses as well.
I love 1792! I was in the service industry (pre covid) & I discovered it at our bar. Definitely gone through a couple bottles of my own during lock down. It also makes a great gift! Not too expensive... & pretty bottle.
You two should have your own sitcom. Give us a 30 minute episode. I like how allison hold her liquor and how Eric has to stay sober because of he have too. No need for a script, you 2 are naturally fun. Allison guffey af and come up with the funniest punchlines. You 2 compliment each other's characters
I just tried a bottled beer with bourbon in it and I kid you not that this is one bottle of beer you do not want to finish in one sitting , it is that potent.
You guys are lucky you don’t have to wear masks while outside! ! ! ! I am happy to see you guys out and about 💜 Kentucky looks fun💜 I’m not a drinker but love the history of it💪 I would still go!
Santa Fe, NM 🙄 our governor says anywhere outside! Literally we can be damn hiking in the mountains (scouts honor🤞) or walking the dog but we have to wear a mask! 😔 people even wear their masks while they drive/in the car 😱.
@@SMichelle626 Oh wow...and wearing a mask while you drive? what? that's a bit much...and while hiking? What? first time I hear of such a thing from anywhere in the world...sorry to hear that!
@@Nature_with_Peter_Kane it’s rough I will not lie 😔 that’s why I freak out other places aren’t as strict. people wear their mask in the car if they want to (soooooooo many do it’s wild)...that’s how scared Santa Fe is. In the car is not mandatory just to clarify since it’s personal space but when you step out you have to have it on.
Hi from Harrodsburg we have fort harrod built 1774 few other things to see the I hope you all all Cumberlad falls near corbin beautiful especially in the fall glad to see you all traveling through in the summer so much to see hear land between the lakes mammoth cave all kinds of places
Awl just watching you guys eat out and have drinks looks so fun and satisfying. Im so jealous haven't been able to eat out or have drinks out for a very very long time. Im so living through you right now cheers.
Hey guys my wife and I have been following you for over 2 year and we just love you all. You have found our favorite KY destination, Bardstown, make sure and chk out the Mystery train if still there. And make sure and get a Bourbon flight at Talbott. Favorite distillery is Willets they have a lunch there now too I hear.
Don’t know where you’re headed but if you get there, go to Shakertown. Wonderfully beautiful place and the food is great if they are serving. I used to live near Lexington. Love Kentucky.
If you ever get the chance to visit Charleston, SC. you should go to their “fire fly distillery” and they have a farm where you can mingle with the farm animals while you walk off your buzz. Then right door is their winery and then more farm animals to help you sober up after both visits. Plan to spend some time. The road to there has trees on both sides that hangs over creating a tree tunnel and looks like you’re in a movie. Especially early Fall. Cheers hope you check it out!
It looks like a fun place to check out! We laughed because we just visited a jail and Distillery ourselves. It was in St. Augustine though. At the Distillery we tried bourbon and rum. We are rum people lol. We had a great time! The food looked awesome where you are visiting! Hopefully 2021 is a better year so we can all have more adventures!
I love Kentucky I was stationed at Fort Knox 1st platoon A.Co 126 I live in Arizona now and it’s like the Middle East dirt and rock everywhere I miss green and things being alive lol I want to move to around Elizabethtown I miss it
