First off, they are mythical characters from stories verbally handed down for generations before ever being written so there's no proof they were polygamists even if they did exist! Even so, if you're gonna believe the bible god never condoned polygamy from any of them in any of the writings.

Which one penned D&C 132? After Joseph’s death Brigham married 5 of Joseph’s former wives.

@@robholden4847 Brigham stated he got the word of god on polygamy in the UK and Joseph did not know. That was his witness. He and others did it behind Joseph's back in Nauvoo. Joseph ex'd his councilor Bennett and also Law for these sexual things. So after Joseph was conveniently murdered they took over. They then immediately started open polygamy with many women. Like the day he died pretty much. Later when the church was fighting for property with the RLDS they had all these women who were polygamists write false witnesses years after the fact. The US judge in the Temple Lot Case said these women statements were frauds. So the LDS could not prove Joseph was a polygamist and the RLDS won the properties. Brigham had one of his partners in crime write that. They also changed out all kinds of official documents so they could make their new way of things. Everyone loves to protect Brigham which makes sense since if Joseph was who he said he was, then what would that mean about our status before God. We would be apostate all of us, the whole world, and needing to pray the Lord would send his servant to do the Mighty Work and a Wonder as Isaiah said he would.

Most members of the church stayed in the state and surrounding area and did not go with Brigham. The Danites under Brigham guidance, swore a blood oath to destroy Missouri years earlier and burned many homes. The state reacted against the church and Joseph and Hyrum were imprisoned as they were the official leaders. The Brigham faction took over the church while they were out of the way. They escaped jail with help of top US politicians. Then a few years later these same men had Joseph and Hyrum handed over to the mob, who were in league with the Danites.

Their anti-LGBTQ stance has lead to suicides of teens/adults, and the families of those who have taken their lives often state they're better off dead than "suffering from same-sex attraction." The system is harmful, controlling Behaviors, thoughts, emotions, and information to steal time and money from members. All my family members who still believe in this tripe are also on antidepressants because they feel inadequate in life. Many members have told me that once they left the church a huge weight was lifted and they finally experience joy. The mormon church is a leech.
