They don't dislike psykers in general. They dislike psykers that are afraid to get bloody and fight with swords and rifles. You can be a psyker and use your psychic might to supernaturally move fast, or use your own blood as a catalyst for spells that cause foes to erupt in gore. Khorne has some of the only examples of " Hemo-psykers " in Warhammer 40K. They are basically blood mages. Some can even heal people or incite battle rage with their sorcery. Khorne loves a good, bloody battle - even if he loses, so to speak. A loss is still a victory to him if none of his people surrender like cowards and they make the enemy pay for every inch of ground, soaking it in viscera. While Psykers aren't glorified, they are still utilized.

If you forget the part where they are worshiping warp entities which often bring the worst out of humanity.

This particular group are unique in their belief system notably seeing the emperor as a powerful warp being to them he isn’t a false god and enemy of chaos but is just another one of the many warp entities fighting for control. However don’t mistake their beliefs for being better people they are in fact awful just like all worshippers of Khorne and chaos.

Problem is, this is the Sons of Sek from The Warmaster book… And at this stage, the Blood Pact had been fighting a civil war with the Sons because the latter were not sanctioned by the Chaos Warlords.

Notice the careful wording, though: the Pactsman seems to consider the entity which "has always been a creature of the deep warp" as being utterly distinct from "a man that was never a god". It's not *entirely* clear if he's suggesting that the Emperor was always an eldritch abomination, or that the person who once walked upon Terra is an unconnected entity to the warp-beast that wears his face.

this could honestly be interesting if the emperor is ever properly revived, because we might have both emperor: the warp entity and normal emperor existing at the same time. the amount of storytelling that could be done with this is so interesting

Considering that in the Warhammer40K universe, even holy angelic entities are technically "creatures of the Warp", Warp doesn't equal "Chaos entity". That said, the undead Emperor who is daily fed the souls of Psykers to sustain him and is being worshipping by trillions of people is definitely turning into *some* sort of divine entity... a God of Order? Unfortunately the latest Lore makes it sound he's now utterly insane, which doesn't bode well.

Ring hollow how? They're saying the emperor isn't a god. They're depicting the emperor in the most lore accurate way. They're even going as far as to agree with the Emperor that he's not a God and that the Imperium has blinded themself with that view.

Thats pretty much the same about your average guardsman / space marine too lol. emperor doesn't specifically "save" your soul when you die. your soul still goes to the warp to be gangbanged by demons for eternity. i remember abbadon speaking to a space marine prisoner just before killing him that after he dies his emperor won't save his soul and that he will be tortured for eternity by demons. emperor reaching out to SPECIFICALLY save YOUR soul is very very rare.
