I suspect he really is OCD considering how he cannot help but thinking that everything is thought in language. I've known many OCD people who have the same thought process, in the same way, they think of an image of an "apple" whenver thinking of apples, so the same image but red or green for green or red apples. The tics and repetitive way of talking are just a minor indicator compared to the way he thinks. I think OCD people are very popular mainly because they feel forced to order their thought and they are very approachable because they are in themselves consistent even thought what they say reflects more how they think than how reality really is. It might just be philosophy too intertwined with linguistics, but I think he's different from Chomsky, Zizek has no pride if he realised he is wrong he'd change his mind. Chomsky would still think everything is language because that's what he dedicated his life upon and he talks only out of his ego.
