The Peterborough Collection is a series that shows the changing face of the city through a montage of photographs from throughout the decades. Bretton is featured this time, beginning on Mowbray Road in 1922, and going on to include the old Bretton Centre, Peterborough Pirates ice hockey fans, the Court Hotel & Tennis Centre, Bretton Woods school [which closed in 2007], the Silver Jubilee pub [which was burnt down in a fire] and Edith Cavell Hospital [which was demolished in 2010], right through to the current Sainsburys and surrounding centre.
