@@chadahaagphilosophychannel7329 The reason behind marijuana being needed is that we learned how to compartmentalize and marginalize all our lives. So it's very difficult to think things through in a unifed system. Hence Marijuana would allow most people to put the pieces of the puzzle together.

Ted really only scratched the surface here. For example we could compare and analyze this to how we understand functioning behavior in living systems such as subordination to unity. (Subordination where there is no unity)
Wow, how has I not discovered your channel before this is the exact combination philosophy, environmentalism, and a critique of woke and leftism, thanks.
🤔 hmm Ted's stated goal in writing his manifesto was to "overthrow the economic and technological basis of the present society".... And here you are years later Chad A Haag using technology for your own economic gain (by asking people to sign up for memberships to your channel) while talking about Ted Kaczynskis work secondhand. Ted would be so proud of you for doing so Chad. 😉😄
Thanks Chad. Clear, provocative, useful presentation. Appreciate this topic. All I know about Kaczynski's thought is via you, and I'm thankful for it--for both of you. (fwiw, I like your lecture style, and I hope it doesn't change, unless organically over time.)
Great episode! I would like you to look over Talcott Parsons and Niklas Luhmanns' work on social system theory. I think both have a pretty strong rebuttal to what the system is not and some of the ideological presuppositions given in this video. Also I think they are two of the best thinkers of the 20th century.
@@chadahaagphilosophychannel7329 No, but hes an "artist" but hes also pretty fringe. However, if you get past that, and the reason why I bring it up, its because of his perspective. He knows the ability to manufacture music with algorithms is coming, but he also talks about the need to "subjectivize" the machinery instead of giving it commands. Think Hegelian Master-Slave dialectics, Hermeneutics, and the point of historicism between Gadamer and Hirsch on Hermeneutics.
Constructive criticism on your presentation: try to limit your use of phrases like "of course". It comes off as patronizing and gives the opposite effect of what you might think, making it seem like there is less behind your words/arguments than there is.
