In hospital now for it. They thought I had myasthenia gravis, so I'm actually grateful it's botulism. How long will I be in hospital? Been here for 5 weeks now.
Omg. That sucks alot. Is it painful to get treated? Better yet, how about the testing process? I need the best inthe world .I do not think medicaid will cover this. I need a miracle because the exposure was years ago. HELPMe please

My aunt has it and haven’t open her eyes or moved in a week, I been crying for a week
I ate a canned tuna from the brand Century Tuna just this morning. I know from the very start that it doesnt smell alright. I ate a very small amount just to check. I am afraid when I knew about this case. Can somebody help me?
Francesca Leycano I know this is late and you're probably fine but I wanted to tell you for future reference and anyone else who is wondering about this, that there is no way to tell if something has botulism other than if the can is bulging or liquid in the can may bubble a little. It doesn't smell or look discolored. It sounds like what you ate was old or exposed to air. Botulism doesn't like air. It thrives when no air is present. Also food with a high acid level doesn't get botulism or rarely ever because it doesn't like high acid foods. Things like canned meats are low acid and therefore you should always check for bulging and bubbles if it already opened. Never chance it and eat if it is dented smells funny or looks funny better to waste your 2 dollars and throw the can away than spend way more in the ER. Because there are other nasty things besides botulism that you have to be careful for too.
I had a bit of it, from honey poorly kept, a small amount got into my mouth while wearing a honey mask, Honestly I felt like death, interesting enough I came right after 3 days, but I had the shakes, sweats, trance like vision, facial numbness.
I've been in hospital for 5 weeks now. I have tracheostomy too. I miss not being able to eat or drink. I'm just grateful I don't have myasthenia gravis. Anyone else who's been through this please let me know how long it took to get better.
It's a condition called Umbilicus Faucium, or U.F., as we successful, attractive, and innovative doctors like to call it. It comes from Latin, as many things do. Like, well...words. Oh, and chocolate, that's from them Latin's as well. The people of ancient Latinia also gave us the first primitive toilet paper, yarn, and flat rolled-up fruit candy, which was called fructus vulvae. They even invented the bidet, which was very successful once upon a time, and then almost completely forgotten by the peoples or our modern world, who seem to enjoy a odiferous bum. Sometimes, the old ways are better. They also were the first to enjoy breakfast cereals made into fun shapes like lambs, sloths, carp, anchovies, fruit bats, and orangutans.
