The PIND Training Impact on Poultry Productivity in the Niger Delta Region 

Gideon Olugbeja is a poultry farmer in Ondo State, Nigeria, who was introduced to PIND by attending our training on best poultry farming practices.
The training built his capacity on the best practices to feed his chickens, prevent diseases, and maintain accurate farm financial management. As a result of the training, Gideon saw an increase in production from 2,000 - 10,000 birds.
In 2022, More than 8,500 farmers received training on good practices and farming innovations. About 6,800 applied the new knowledge acquired, improved their productivity, expanded their poultry farming, and had an estimated cumulative additional income of N1.89 billion.
