Simply stunning plants! Hard to believe all of that growth energy is stored in one of the eucomis bulbs! That last pot is really remarkable.

Sheryl, its really easy and described in one of the later videos. But quickly, I move the containers to a dry, cool space before the first frost. I let the top growth die back naturally and then I cut off all the dead growth. I give the containers a little water once a month. In February, I start watering once a week with a water soluable, blossom booster fertilizer and bring the containers outside once the danger of frost is over. Hope this helps, but do watch the other videos on The Pineapple Lily.

I planted my pineapple lily 10 years ago and it's huge but has never had a boom. Any suggestions?

Christina, first you need to repot it after 10 years. Second, while repotting, separate the bulbs that have grown with the main bulb. Plant the baby bulbs in other containers. Third, add bone meal to the soil when you repot - about 1/2-3/4 cup per pot. Fourth, fertilize every 2-3 weeks with a ferilizer like 5-10-10 or 3-6-6. And, give the plant more sun if it is not already in full sun. Some or all of this should help.
