Wait was the original cartoon really in a rectangular format?? Most episodes of older cartoons from around 2005 and earlier, including other episodes of this show, were done in a square format. Is this from an edited airing on Boomerang or a DVD??
Should be 4:3 (NTSC) going all the way back to the dawn of cartoons made for TV, because 4:3 is the original TV aspect ratio (later also commonly used by computer monitors until the 2000s), and lasted until the time of mandated upgrade to digital TV. So, rectangular, not square, but closer to square than digital TV and most modern computer monitors.
