When I first heard the musical, I flashbacked to Handsome Jack from Tales from the Borderlands and thought: "Oh my gosh he was a SQUIP." This song fits him and Rhys perfectly and you did an amazing job on the animation.

Not sure what Borderlands is, but I really like BMC and WOW this is amazing! I absolutely love the character expressions (body language and facial) and your art style is gorgeous! The storytelling is great too!- I felt like I understood a lot even though I’m not familiar with the characters. Amazing work, great animatic. ❤️✨

Unrelated to the animatic but something I realized from seeing these two characters drawn here is how important their designs are. Jack and Rhys are clearly supposed to look similar, Rhys is trying to emulate jack and a big part of his arc is learning how terrible his idol was. But the differences are so cool to. Rhys is completely uniform, everything he wears is straight and plain, showing his blank slate and rule follower personality, he's a textbook example of what propaganda can do. Jack however looks way cooler, his clothes exude personality and his design is meant to look like a hero and high class member of society, but his design is slightly unsymmetrical that for some reason reminds me of the conflicting motivations of Jack, he's both evil and narcisiistic while also being heroic. I'm probably thinking way to much about this.
