Hey mate, Just stumbled on to your channel as I am heading to the Lake in mid October. I’ve been there before but struggled as I mainly fish the salt. Looking to get into a few more fish next trip. Do you think mid Oct is too early for Top water? I’ve never fished the chatter baits but look interesting Cheers
Definitely not mate, it would be very close to perfect for surface. If you get a warm calm day that should bring plenty of insects and bugs out for that night and it can go absolutely off! New moon of a night is the best too 👌🏽

I've been out L. St Claire in the yak half a dozen times and caught squat. Used the Jackall lures in the good spots. 2-6M. Fished morning to afternoon. What the hell am I doing wrong?
