I recorded the video yesterday and only now after I posted it and entered the game again to work on my next video I saw they released a new patch. They nerf a lot of things… including the Focus Gain on damage dealt. The Damage is now smaller but still can one shot kill almost everything in the game. The Biggest change are the Focus Potions that all have been cut in half, the biggest potion now gives 150 focus instead of 300. I am currently working on a hybrid tank-mage build and I will try to make it work with the new nefs, so if you are interested consider subscribing and keep an eye out for that. Have a Wicked Journey.
pls continue making more builds. Your first build made me won my first echo knight. I doubt i will try a mage build anytime soon since focus gain on dmg dealt and potions are severly nerfed. plus scaling nerf on staves too.
@@MashyM3llow I’ll soon make a tank-bow range build. I mean I already made one but with the new nerf I need to readjust some rings and try to run the crucible again to see if it’s still good.
I’m pretty sure we’ll get more powerful focus potions when they release new content. Echo Knight is basically Moon’s measuring stick to balance the game moving forward. At least that’s my hope
@@ВикторК-у9э The overall focus gain doesn't work anymore, it's completely broken, I enchanted a lot of gear and with the rings I got to 187% focus gain and it's giving me 0. The focus on damage dealt still works but they also decrease the percentages of it. They killed the mage builds in away. I still manage to get an overpower build with the bow even in this 1.0, patch, if you are interested check my Ranger Spear Knight build.

Because when I tried wearing armor with and without focus gain increased feature separately, both in my normal attacks and my ability attacks, I did not notice any change in gaining focus. Ok, let’s first start with the movement speed, attack speed and overall speed stat… none of this work at the moment, I also tried a lot of different things and they don’t seem to work at all for now, it’s still easy access so I hope they fix the speed stat in the future. For the focus gain, if you only have “focus gain increased x%” you will not see any improvement on your build, if you have “Gain x% Focus on damage dealt” then you will see your focus starting to raise up when you use your attacks, now if you also have “focus on damage dealt” together with “focus gain increased x%” then when you hit you will see an increase focus gain. Then you have “focus increased by x%” if it doesn’t have “gain” in its describe then this just increases your overall max focus stat not the gain. And lastly you also have “gain x focus on focus use” this gives you focus back whenever you use rune skills and it will also be an increased focus if you have more “focus gain in the rest of your gear”. I hope this helps.
Battlemage type build is what I’m looking at too. I discovered with my pure Strength character a Gnarled Staff would still about 3 shot annoying teleporting witches in crucible, and added the thunder AE for groups. So now I. Peeking into Str/Int. (Only lv 5 so far from one big exp pot.)
Was planing to. I’m currently editing a new spear build. And then I’ll work on either a fire mage or a lightning mage. Since I have something asking for a lightning mage I’ll probably go for it and see what I can come up with.
@@mateuszparus you would think so, also the element damage stat doesn’t work on runes only damage increase stat… but there are certain runes like “the spin” from the Blood-Rusted Sword or the throwing runes that apply focus gain on damage dealt or element damage. It’s really unclear because we don’t get enough description on the runes, I wish they would give us more detail on the runes.
@@LarryPuss Do you maybe know Focus Gain also increases the focus gained from "focus gain on damage dealt"? I know it sadly does not increase the focus regeneration gemstone nor does it increase focus gained from focus halo rune or consumables
I one shot everything in crucible with plague staff, then switch to ice on knight. The ice AOE big spell hits for more than the plague aoe big spell. Plus it freezes.
Save up all the experience potions you get from the crucible or throughout the game in a box. When you make a new character like 9-12 levels you get only from those experience potions. This way you can start equipping higher grade armour and go faster into the crucible and keep farming. Crucible can earn you 2-3 levels per run or more depending on your level. For the last 3 levels from 27 to 30 you need about 6-7 crucible runs. Use throw runes on weapons to level up faster in the crucible, in case you didn’t have any you can get the normal throw rune from an axe at the blacksmith as a start.
I will post a video on how I level an alt character from level 1 all the way to 30 without using any potions, soon... but it will be around 4 hours long. If interested keep an eye out for it, I am editing it now.
The Crucible offers the highest amount of experience. I basically used my main character to buy low grade weapons and gear, enchant and upgrade them and added them to a chest. Then when I make a new character I used that gear to go directly into the crucible. A full crucible run can also offer 2-3 embers if you also beat the boss so as long as I get consistent runs I can keep doing crucible again and again and level up to max 30 in just a few hours.
They straight up ruined the game IMO. Things that didnt need fixing took a nerf in some form and some changes just changed too much too soon. The game only really needed optimization and removal of bugs/glitches. I dumped 200hrs in already, Ill be back in 6 months lol. Great game tho!
70 int, I do so much damage that everything dies to fast to even get close to me. But don’t worry I’ll soon post a new int build that’s half tank half mage. With that build you should be tanks enough to survive anything and also have enough damage to cut through all enemies, so if you are interested keep an eye out for when I post it.
