Outstanding!!!! This place & its creatures make the world the Xenomorphs live seem tame as child's play. Your work is as good as any bigtime film makers, better in fact & what you put into these is simply cool as hell & it may make that place seem tame.
You've become one of my favorite channels. Not only is your music fitting but unlike single-pic vids, your slide shows tell a story. Backed up by an awesome track. Thanks for doing these!
I have a channel with single image videos (not sure if you saw it before), called Xinferis. Each video tries to tell a story with a single image, title and backing track. That channel is pretty much solely focused on the music though. The art on the other channel started out pretty terrible. :) I started creating the art to do covers for my singles. That eventually evolved into doing art that was dedicated to that specific video. Over time as I got better with creating the art, I eventually evolved into doing the slideshow style videos I make here. It's a lot of fun using a sequence of images I create to tell a story.
The level of productivity you manage never ceases to amaze me, the high rate of publication of content with this incredible level of quality and creativity!!!
I was off of work this week so I had a bit more time to work on my videos. I was up pretty late last night finishing this video. :) I will probably be closer to a video a week again after this week.
I get *_intense_* ....seriously intense... Alistair Reynolds vibes from this. Its like scenes straight from his 'Revelation Space' novels (the absolute best sci fi universe I've read....along with Bank's Culture novels), and even his 'Revenger' trilogy to a lesser degree. But Revelation Space for sure....I could even put characters names to some of those ...... um...... people.
These people meaning me? :) It would be very difficult to make a "real" movie with a style like this. Real meaning a normal movie with people walking and talking, in scenes like this. It would be possible to make longer videos similar to this one, even movie length that are still frames but a bit more elaborate. I think I did a rough calculation, and if I could do it full time it would probably take about 6 months, possibly longer. But I have a day job so can't do that. :)
