#tarptent #tarpshelter #militarysurplus check this nifty basha set up out. quick to set up even easier to strike down. both takes minutes. how you will like the video by punching that like button. enjoy guys....OUT.
That's pretty cool but the reason I love the plough point is the ease of getting in and out with the extra height *find it easier to admin my prosthetic leg*
This one, I think, is the best one yet. As you say mega easy to put up, offers good protection and is huge inside. I have even invested in some #36 tarred bank line to use as the ridge line. I have always used Paracord previously but I think the bank line is less flexible. Keep up the good work, love the vids. All the best from Derbyshire. Cheers, Roo.
Nice setup Tank. I did a 4 night hammock camp last weekend. I made a set of jungle knots after watching your video on it. Came in handy. I used them to extend on of my tarp guylines. Great video. Thanks bud cheers from Cape breton Canada
Going to try this set-up tonight in the dunes near us. Want to see whether it is good for 2 (very good friends..lol) Have tried a run through at home and looks superb. Also on your recommendation have ordered 2 X Highlander Challenge 400 sleeping bags. They arrive tomorrow so will be reporting back asap. Many thanks for your intel on these items. Stay well, stay safe. Helen and Katarin Juska-Law with Terri and Robyn. Update....Used this set-up twice now with the new sleeping bags. It is roomy enough for two of us in the Challenger 400 sleeping bags with our kit too. We did raise the side a little as we needed slightly more airflow than when it was fully closed down at sides. Plenty of room for 2 and kit without cramping range of movement.
Thats a belter of a set up Lee👌I've not seen that version before, let alone used it. My DD Tarps 3x3 will work well in that config😉 Kudos to you for a great idea👊
Hi buddy, cracking shelter , I need to try this one out . Really enjoying your videos mate , some good drills and skills and I've just become a member. Keep them coming mate 👍
I love the Plough Point (using a 10' (3m) x 10' tarp) with the apex at head height because with my service back injuries, I don’t have to crawl in/out. And then just drape a mosquito netting over the front and attach it with clothes pins. USGI poncho as a ground sheet.
Nice set up. What was the size of your basha Lee? Would a 3x3 work? Also would a 6'2" fella fit in easily plus kit? I reckon you could use a stick or trekking pole instead of a tree if you want to go stealthy? Atb buddy.
I'm just under 5'9" and use a 10'x10' (3m x 3m) tarp with the apex at head level, and it's perfect for me and my "s.o." and kit. There is plenty of room. And I just attach a mosquito netting to the front with clothes pins. If we want to hang a combo lantern/electric fan, just run a ridgeline and a prusic knot. I have a host of back injuries from the service and not up for crawling in/out on my knees anymore.
I like that a lot. I will to give it ago,but will it beat the gunyah that I love, you can't say you haven't got friends lee there a huge community here, all here just to watch you.
Thanks for asking Mick, he didn't lose any fingers as first thought. there's a lot of damage but good news its not his me time hand. thanks for watching mick much appreciated.
Also them there spams don't have any kit as good as this! Most of there other gear is superior but not when there equivalent is a poncho! It's useful as a poncho buts not built like a basha!
