As a mother, I CANNOT FATHOM not letting my daughter back into my home. I can’t get over that part of the story. How dare her mother turn her back on her daughter for a man that was disloyal. Gross gross gross

That’s an extremely selfish reason for murder… and her mom continuously choosing her shitty man over her daughter??? Girl…

I do feel for Marie. Murder like this is never okay, but this could’ve all been avoided if the mother didn’t allow her cheating husband back into their lives or if her step dad wasn’t such a douche to a teenager who had every right to be mad with him for cheating on her mom. I’m sorry to the father, I hope he wasn’t in too much pain as he passed and it went fast. Also to Stacey and her loved ones who had to carry the weight of this secret. I hope they’re able to move on from this and live full lives

Wow. I love every single one of your videos. This has become my favorite channel (idk if I can still call it Into the Dark or not so I'll just call it Your channel) I love it bc it feels cozy, honest, and real. So much so that confusingly aggressive replies to posts I've made are completely ineffectual bc I know you and Almost everybody here feels the same way I do. And I think we all know how a clear sociopath like Marie had to first convince everyone she murdered her father than only served 7yrs for it. Pretty, smart, white, ect. I've seen the outcome of So many cases and it seems like our system of justice is so wildly erratic. I could see a world where today she might have received the extreme opposite just to make a point about fairness. Which is a terrible reason to do that but quite possibly a safer one. If someone asks if it's possible to be born without a conscious while crying um.....RUN!
