I loved this audiobook, another ‘gem’ from the pen of the extremely-talented (and humorous) Simon Brett!! …I so appreciate the Author and Isis Audio - as well as ‘Free Cozy Mystery’ - for generously making this series available to Listeners via RU-vid; I probably never would have discovered this Author, otherwise!

Hmmmm; gastro-pub chains, “Bettina was”, Old ‘Friends’, Sylvia, Employees,… 1.5-hrs in - and lots of possibilities. …SB is a Master at serving-up ‘red-herrings’!😉😄

I haven't gotten that far yet, but thanks for the heads up. One time in another video Chinese music came on and I was feverishly trying to shut my phone off and inadvertently caused 911 to answer, "what's your emergency " I was so disoriented I thought it was part of the program and asked, "did I dial 911". When you hit on and off enough times, it reverts to 911. I had to confirm I was alright and we ended the call, but made a note, as you did to warn someone else. Take care. I don’t know how it works, how channels like this one defeat the copyright algorithm…..maybe loud obnoxious music is required for this end….ultimately, my appreciation for the free posts certainly outweighs any complaints I might have …as my mother taught me, ‘ if you can’t say something nice, keep your mouth shut’
