I can understand why they used Sierra Railway 3's whistle, though. It's powerful and pleasant to hear, and they had stock sounds saved from it courtesy of the various movies and shows it's been in.
I seriously do personally just suddenly feel like lettin' you certainly know that I'm actually thinkin' 'bout adapting Pere Marquette #1225 A K A the Polar Express into the officially well-known Thomas & Friends TV show's own official complete full CGI animation era as part of the new line of episodes when the characters are actually based on their own official real-life counterparts where he'll officially well-knowingly cleverly be named Berkshire due to his own official 2-8-4 wheel configuration; hence officially 1OO% cleverly well-knowingly obviously bein' mamed Berkshire! In fact, before heading for his own official new home on the Island of Sodor's North Western Railway to work work for the Fat Controller, the folks who work@ the Lima Locomotive Works in Lima in Ohio (his own official birthplace) certainly would basically be more than happy to upgrade him by instantly replacing his own official pair of knuckle coupling devices on his front/the rear of his own official tender with the officially well-known screw coupling devices to cooperate with British rolling stock with no complete trouble whatsoever 'bout it meaning that he'll apparently 1OO% actually become the Island of Sodor's North Western Railway's own official Berkshire type of steam-driven railway tender locomotive! Plus, the locomotive's own official crew consisting of a specifically experienced Driver & Fireman certainly would basically be receiving new uniforms that officially does actually resemble the official uniforms woren the drivers of every single 1 of diesels on the Island of Sodor's North Western Railway except without the logo for the Vicarstown Diesel works printed on the back SINCE it certainly does look quite similar to their own official current uniforms except in the form of becoming new immigranted citizens in the U K to work really happily hard to be responsibly reliably really useful for the Fat Controller himself over on the Island of Sodor's own officially official well-knowingly popular famous standard gauge North Western Railway!
I freaking love this whistle and I prefer this over sierra’s but I think for the film the sierra’s is less scary, higher note whistles seem less ominous and this movie can already be pretty ominous, so the sierra whistle just makes the tone more lighthearted
No. It’s all of 1225’s whistle. After all, my intention was to exclusively use the 1225’s whistle to replace the Polar Express whistle in this video. It is true that the whistles NYC used on their Hudsons does sound similar to 1225’s whistle, but not entirely.
