i think it will only cost you $40,000 for police K-9. dog ..lol. maybe more. Thats for regular police K-9. This dog is even more specialized!

Labs are awesome. When I hurt my back I trained my dog to get the mail, he naturally gets the packages too. He does so many things now for me. When I drop something he picks it up. They have excellent noses.

They can find drugs inside of a plastic bag, inside of a duffle bag full of clothes, inside of a metal car trunk, so I'm pretty sure, yes.

that dog should not pick things up with his mouth, (handlers hand had dogs saliva on it when showing the camera) as it can disturb any touch DNA / evidence that may be left behind

K9 is derived from 'canine' which can be ANY breed of dog. But for your information, majority of K9s today are Belgian Malinois that can be mistaken also as German Shepherds.

@@alwilliam3379 Belgian Malinois is a Belgian Shepherd. Belgium and Germany share borders and once was Germany. So for the most part, it's the equivalent of mistaking a Kansas Shepherd for a Nebraska Shepherd. And for your information, the majority of police dogs are German Shepherds, not the Belgium "Malinois." Correct on "canine" however.
