Judges blocking journalists from showing the face of police officers is wrong. Judges have too much power to block our rights to a free press, it's disgusting.
If anyone is curious as to the officers involved in the Fisher case, I found the Public court docs. There names are,.Randall Jordan, Matthew Rice, and John Trafelet Michigan State Police.
When they legalized marijuana in southern California cops raided legal weed dispensaries, they took all their money, inventory, computers and books. They didn’t charge them with any crime just took everything they wanted. The cops or retired officers started up their own weed dispensaries with everything they took sometimes keeping the same location of the bust. This happened at over 30 locations thoughout Orange County, mostly Santa Ana. My buddy’s dad was one of the retired sheriffs that ran several of these dispensaries and made a ton of money quick. That’s policing in America. 🇺🇸 right?
The police are the biggest gang in town. They can do what they want. That's why I will never understand people that refuse to own guns. This is your only way to keep the playing field even.
2008 same in NorCal. We were licensed to grow by the state. Our 3 licensed grow ops were raided. We left with nothing. It was devastating in so many ways. Glad to be in the legal industry here in Arkansas. I Still don't trust the local, state, or the feds even though we do EVERYTHING by the book.
Yep even judges have families in the pot growing business. The same clowns who put people in jail for years for a joint, often are now connected to the supply.
@@matthewjdouglas6471 In CA you can get a good deal on grow lamps and equipment by buying from the police sites online, or you used to be able to anyhow.
Or uses one without sharing that info. I was strongly against all drugs until I bore the effects of a now lifelong, painful disease. I had no symptoms until I was in my early 30’s. I was prescribed medical marijuana three years ago and it changed my life. When pain becomes so unbearable that I lay thrashing in bed, I take it and within an hour or so I can lay still. I could take more and remove all the pain but I’m still leery of taking more than needed. We need to allow growers and dispensaries do business without risking their private possessions. Not everyone is using it for fun.
They lost the war on drugs. It was a fight not worth fighting. People died and absolutely nothing happened when it comes to stopping drugs. If anything, the war on drugs made the drug situation much worse. Being a true warrior in the war on drugs isn’t a title to be held with pride, it’s a title anyone normal would hate. This dumb war that did nothing but make the drug situation worse is the frontlines when it comes to death and addiction and this guy is proudly calling himself a true warrior in the war on drugs. Shame on him, may he od on fent in the deepest pits of hell.

Psychedelics are just an exceptional mental health breakthrough. It's quite fascinating how effective they are against depression and anxiety. Saved my life.
Can you help with the reliable source I would really appreciate it. Many people talk about mushrooms and psychedelics but nobody talks about where to get them. Very hard to get a reliable s0urce here in Australia. Really need!
Wars that keep going on to benefit the rich/US Congress who invest hundreds of thousands into a stock market they basically look over. So yes. There are SEVERAL problems that all stem from the "Elite"/Extremely Wealthy who try and keep their names hidden
They do but who else can they Martyr? The "stoner" community are known to be non-violent. Pigs choose easy targets over doing their actual job. Just wait till J-walking is criminalized with how our economy and government has been.
They are punishing people for doing the right thing and doing everything legally it's absolutely insane I've been seeing it for about 15 years in Michigan this is why I left
What’s really sad is if it was illegal, regardless of what people think, shutting everything down would be fine but these people go through the process of doing everything legally, getting every approval, and still get screwed over
Unfortunately, I was involved in a drug raid before the decriminalization that took place on November 6, 2018. To protect my identity, I am using a fake RU-vid name. During the raid, (In michigan) the police arrived in full tactical gear, and it was clear they were focused on the money. They had my friend sign papers agreeing not to contest their actions in exchange for not pursuing charges. He was a licensed medical marijuana caregiver This kind of situation happens frequently, so I'm glad that Vice has chosen to shed light on these injustices. even in 2024
I seriously doubt she has PTSD from that, more likely her mother has just offloaded her own anxiety on to her, they’ll diagnose you with anything in the US if you pay
Psychedelics saved me from years of uncontrollable depression, anxiety, alcoholism, smoking, and illicit pills addiction. Imagine carving heavy chains for over a decade and then all of a sudden that burden is gone. Believe it or not, in a couple of years they'll be all over for treatment of mental health related issues.
To be honest, mushrooms are one of the most amazing things on the planet and it is natural, they serve in many ways not only for mental related issues.
Can you help me with a reliable source I would really appreciate it. Many people talk about mushrooms and psychedelics but nobody talks about where to get them. It is very hard to get a reliable source here in Iceland. Really need!
Yes, Sporeville. I have the same experience with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and addiction... Mushrooms definitely made a huge difference to why I'm clean today.

I was a little girl and so many children grow up like this it's absolutely devastating I was just crying about it after I watched the video. And the parents are speechless because these are the police they don't know what to do they feel that they feel like the criminal when they did everything right and the police are the criminals here. They should not feel sad or bad at all and I'm praying for them that they don't ✨🌟🙏☄️
In depth psychological testing before hiring, situational simulation testing, body cams that cannot be turned off, severe prosecution of crimes committed on the job, intelligence standards, increased pay, curtailing of "more than equal rights", and end of investigations by their own force when charged with misconduct.
What's really sad is vice lost all of its best content producers, Weediquette and Hamilton's pharmacopia were some of the best TV content on the topic of substances. Even hosts like Zack Fox getting let go, they just cannot bring themselves to pay these people well enough or for some reason must have just decided it wasn't worth it to fund another season. And here we are years later vice is laying off everybody and finding out that they don't get don't get views anymore and then they re-upload their old content from when they actually were able to produce good stuff. It's sad I hope whoever inevitably buys vice actually can breathe some fucking life back into this company and put them back to doing what they do best making serious content again
This is my entire life growing up in Flint and in Detroit Michigan I am so glad they made this video and I feel for all the people that are still there I left 8 years ago because of the police and how much they harass you and force you to work for them I had a friend who had a seizure driving and they arrested US instead of taking her to the hospital and they forced her to work for them and wear a wire and going to drug houses just to reverse fake charges that they put on her and I it's an absolute disgrace. All the cops in Michigan need to be fired the whole thing. I'm in tears right now because this little 9 year old girl is growing up the same way I did completely afraid of the police. Saying prayers sending love to Michigan and to anyone that is being abused this is not right it's also happening a lot in Canada sending love to them as well
And before body cams they planted evidence all the time, they still do if they can get away with it. Seen video with one cop knew he was breaking the person's rights searching the car and you could see him sneaking some weed in the cup holder
Back in my drug partying days in the early 2000s, I'm from northwest Indiana, and I FIRST HAND SEEN A SO CALLED LEGAL ROBBERY OF A DRUG ADDICT. Me and my buddies were caught up in some bad stuff, heroin addiction, back in the days, but not drug trafficking or any kingpin type of stuff that they should totally be seizure of assets. But back to my story, me and 3 buddies used to go to the projects in Chicago, the Robert Taylor Homes, which is now torn down like all the other notorious drug trafficking dens, get our dope and everyone would pitch in for the person that would JUMP and actually go into the projects, while the driver who was at the time, sometimes it would be any one of us, we all had cars, and were friends since we were young. Well after you get off the highway, the projects are basically right there, they just had to be super fast and wear a hoodie, cause were all white and if Chicago cop sees a white person coming in or out of the projects, they know what's up and your getting frisked and roughed up if you were caught going in there, and maybe sometimes a trespassing arrest if they have told you multiple times you can't be there. So they usually wait until your running out so they can catch ya with the dope, but we had so many hiding spots on us, if they did frisk they would basically have to strip you naked to find it. People put it in their shoes or compartments in them, they would cut a line with a razor inside their belt area inside the jeans or pants and you would have to be damn good to find it. But back to the story cause this is taking forever, my buddy Amy had a almost brand new car like me back in the days, she was driving her new Mitsubishi Eclipse, which was worth about 14 to 15 grand. And I guess on our way back a state trooper in Illinois seen us getting back on the expressway 80 94 and seen our Indiana plates but she floored it when she hit the exit, we were freaking gone by the time he could even turn around to get on the exit to expressway. But he called it in on the radio and we thought we were good, even made it back into Indiana after like 15 minutes, next thing we know Indiana State Boys get behind us and hit their lights. We all got pulled outta the car, and Amy, she was the driver wasn't very smart cause she had a spoon and needles under her seat. They only found dope on my other friend Shawn cause he couldn't wait to do his stuff, he was doing it in the backseat, me and my other buddy didn't get got with anything, cause I knew the golden rule, don't take it outta your hidden spot until safe and home and never, NEVER carry syringes. Well Amy got charged with possession, and possession with intent to bring I into a facility, cause she had her stuff in her private pouch and thought she could slide past the jail staff with it 😆, but the sad part and the WRONG part was because she had syringes and it was like 2.5 grams of heroin they weighed out at the jail, they Confiscated her car! They stole her new car her parents got her just cause we were a bunch of stupid teenage addicts. It showed me right there when I was young what the police department and the politicians are all about. Lining their own pockets. Freaking 18 year old girl got caught with a little dope, and paraphernalia, and they Seized her car, said it was because of drug trafficking and illegal activities. Tell me this, who does that help? The addict? The taxpayers? Nope. It helps them. After they ask Ed d that law we started taking the train, South shore 😆. Freaking biggest mafia in the country is the government.

Cannabis should be absolutely just as legal and easy to obtain anywhere as alcohol currently is. In every single state. No exceptions. It's so easy: As legal and easy to obtain/use as alcohol currently is. Why hold relatively benign, often healing cannabis to any sort of irrational, stricter double standard than perfectly legal alcohol?

You still have to have licenses in Michigan to grow, transfer, prescribe, sell and destroy weed waste in the States that have legalized cannabis for medical purposes. Each step requires a different license, and most of them require training to obtain each license. It's not a "legal weed business" if you're skipping any of these steps.

Lawyers have already figured a way to get around this. They fight it based upon the idea of imminent domain. The state takes property without proper compensation. Many people have already sued the state successfully under imminent domain.
One thing to remember is that, from the Federal perspective, there is no such thing as a "legal weed business." This is why the industry is in such a gray area. This is the answer to the "how can this happen" question at 1:35 of the video.
@1:32 Simple. It is not federally legal and, therefore, illegal, even if a state says it is legal in that state. If you cared as much as you think you do Vice, look into why not allowed federally and produce something there.
Asset forfeiture needs to be abolished. They seized all of their property that had nothing to do with the business, not to mention their house was basically destroyed. Time to call IJ.
The truth of the matter is that these businesses are not doing anything wrong . The reason for Forfeiture laws was to take from Ruthless kingpin large drug dealers , however many Municipalities have decided to use these rules for financial reasons instead . Basically you are being somewhat (Legally) Burglarized by criminals with badges . If you talk to a Police Officer one on one about this the first thing they will say is " I am just doing my job ." That is not the truth at all , their job is to stop crime not become an accessory to it , their job is to protect the innocent not terrorize them . In a way these Municipalities are committing another crime also , it is called Entrapment : Law Enforcement or State that induced someone to commit a crime they would not have normally committed . So by making Marijuana legal and giving a set of rules to operate on then waiting just long enough to see what they will do then taking action against them is Entrapment . Although you cannot show the Officers face from the Courtroom , you can show their faces from outside the Courtroom as long as it is a photo from a public place or from a public record . The US Supreme Court has ruled that there is no expectation of privacy in a public place . A state may make up a rule or ordinance but it does not override Federal Law . As far as an anonymous tip goes , they can just say they got one , but The Court has the right to verify that the person exists .
