The politically incorrect truth about Japan in World War II focusing on the outbreak of war between the United States and Japan, the economic stranglehold placed on Japan by the Roosevelt administration and the documented order by FDR to attack Japan 5 months BEFORE the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor.

Thanks for the info. I've always regarded Roosevelt as the second worst US President after Woodrow Wilson, but I never knew he actually planned to attack Japan before Pearl Harbor.
@Terrekain
@Terrekain 4 года назад
Sorry but that's bogus. Neither Roosevelt nor anyone in the American military was going to attack Japan unless Japan attacked the US. And in the event that they did, that is why contingency plans are made. For example, today, we have war contingencies for nuking a number of countries - including Western European countries and Russia. Those plans, though, are what are to be expected - the truth is that Japan had long since planned on attacking the US IN FACT, rather than IN THEORY - and definitely NOT to counter-attack, but to foment a sense of "Greater Asia". In short, the reason why Japan attacked the United States had less to do with oil and steel and more to do with Race war theories like their "Flying Geese Formation" and "Asia Co-prosperity" (and Greater Asia Co-prosperity sphere) to unite Asians behind Japan.

+Mad Monarchist Thanks for the good video. I have the same recognition as yours. In Japan people criticize the people having this opinion as extreme right wing. truth is these are the facts. History is written by victors(Winston Churchill ). We've been suffering from made-up stories, false stories. I assume one of the reason is Japanese people are never good at communication. The cause we couldn't avoid the war is also this reason. we should've appealed to US people instead of Us government. Chinese people succeeded in that point. They also had good relationship with Roosevelt. I assume they had sarcasm and very bad image to Japanese in US. Japan governed Korea but this is not invasion either. Japan had a big concern about invasion from Russia around that days. To mitigate the risk Japanese government wanted Korea to be stronger and independent ( Korean people never agrees with this idea ). Just a protected state like the relation of Monaco and France. Not colonization or invasion. Japan got modernized in Meiji era. What they pursued was just to be independent, just to be free from colonization of western countries.era of racism not like today. We're not allowed to get power. True friendship can be made through mutual understanding of each culture and history. I hope many people found this and know the truth.

Sorry, but he goes through multiple fabrications to get to his assumptions. The truth is that "If we invade Indonesia, we're going to be at war with the Americans" is a total fabrication meant to distract from the real reason the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. Think about it: If the Japanese attack the DUTCH east indies, how does that mean war with America? It doesn't. Which means the Japanese could have attacked Britain AND the Dutch and every other power and not been at war with America....the GERMANS attacked the Dutch, France, Britain, etc, etc, etc, and America STILL didn't declare war on Germany the ENTIRE TIME. And you're claiming that if the Japanese attacked - not the Dutch or British homelands - but their COLONIES on the OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD, that the Americans are sudddenly going to declare war and attack Japan? Who are you kidding? It's false history - Japanese revisionist history. Why did Japan attack America? Simple. Because the Chinese Nationalists were allied to America and being supplied by them. And Japan and Nationalist China were competing over the minds and cultural dominance of Asians on the continent. The Japanese THE ENTIRE TIME were excoriating the Nationalists as being in league with "Bei Gwai" (in their chinese mandarin propaganda in Manchuria). In short, the reasons for Japanese attacks on America were RACIAL in nature. Also, the idea that Japan has the right to attack America when America refuses to sell oil to Japan (who uses it to conquer East Asia and freeze out American businesses based on Japanese racial animus) is facile - America has been embargoed many times, most recently by the Arabs in the 1970s - it didn't result in America conquering places Saudi Arabia (and nobody argues America didn't have the military capability at the time). Similarly, this lecturer tries to pretend that America bombed Japan before Pearl Harbor (it never happened), that the Japanese somehow have the "right" to attack America (they didn't), that Japan delivered a "Declaration of war" to America that was "late" (Japan never delivered a declation, that's a lie based on trying to pretend a normal diplomatic cable with harsh-sounding language was a declaration - it wasn't, it didn't even break diplomatic relations), etc, etc, etc. In short, every bit of his lectern has been a flight of DECEPTION. Lies of commission are rather easy to detect - but for history novices, lies of OMISSION are difficult to discern - including the Japanese destruction of the USS Panay which was carrying journalists and investigators from around the world to ascertain the truth of the Massacres happening in Nanking....which is exactly why the Japanese committed acts of war as flagrantly as they did.

@@Terrekain I have read the same information and seen black and white film which confirms what he says. My father was an officer in the Royal Navy in the European and Pacific campaigns, accepting the Japanese surrender on Rabaul. He came from a time when people trusted their governments. He didn't know Churchill was an alcoholic and a coward who was too drunk to deliver those great speeches, forcing the government to get a voice actor for a famous children's radio show to deliver "We shall fight them on the beaches.....etc" I have subsequently learned that the 'special relationship' between Britain and the USA is based on domination through military force and it continues today. Britain lost her empire to the US after WW2 but the USA gained an empire. Every country should have the right to determine their own political alignment. After WW2, political figures from every Asian country where the Japanese had been based thanked Japan for freeing them from colonial powers and to quote the Prime Minister of Malaysia "Japanese war crimes? There is no evidence of that". Even MacArthur agreed that Japan had been given no choice. The Indian representative walked out of the Far Eas Asia War Crimes Tribunal, which was a farce. My mother had a friend who had been a Chinese warlord during WW2 and he told me that it was difficult even for him to work out what was going on as there was Mao, Chiang Kai Shek, and countless factions fighting each other. He was actually there at the time and took part but he had no ill-feeling towards theJapanese I lived in Singapore and married a Chinese girl - again, no ill-feeling or horror stories from people who lived through it. I am proud of most of my British heritage which was very close to the throne for over 1000 years on my mother's side but thanks to great parents, I'm also a seeker and defender of the truth.

@@Simon-Binks Sorry, you're BSing. Terry is right on all his points. What this RU-vidr has stated is a pack of lies - and no, MacArthur never believed that Japan had "no choice" but to attack America - if you think otherwise, provide your docuemntation - there is none, same with the so-called "Declaration of War" that Japan claims to have delivered "minutes" before Pearl Harbor - that fabrication has been debunked ad nauseum as the "13-part message" was simply a normal communique taht didn't even break diplomatic relations with America - it had nothing to do with Declarations of War. As for "Dominance", that was as much British/Japanese carryovers with their former alliance - it wasn't the USA that was invading and making war on China - that was the British and Japanese over the course of half a century.
@isolinear9836
@isolinear9836 Год назад
@@rudeegruenberg9184 Japan attacked and killed Americans throughout China (at the time, America's ally), even sinking an American ship called the USS Panay which was sent by Chiang Kai Shek and FDR to investigate the atrocities the Japanese were committing at Nanking - needless to say, the Japanese ensured the US Navy never made it to Nanking intact - and even then the US response was muted largely because the American President knew his own people wouldn't be happy about any War that did not involve the territorial integrity of the USA...and THOSE incidents are one of the major reasons why the Japanese thought the US would surrender and give up if they attacked in full force in the Phillipines and Pearl Harbor.

I doubt the US has put it online. It was quietly declassified in the 1970's with nothing being said about it. You have to contact the National Archives but it has been mentioned in several books and scholarly journals (some even arguing that it should have happened and would have prevented Pearl Harbor) and there is here on RU-vid a news broadcast talking about it (though you will have to ignore the Japanese translation voice-over -but it is an American broadcast) which still tries to portray it as being not so bad because, they just assume that Japan deserved anything anyone ever did or would do to them.

Your series on Japan in World War Two has a great deal of value that is little known - I value it. However, I would suggest some comments about the Japanese "occupation" of French Indo-China. There were negotiations in the summer of 1940 so that the border with China would be closed, to prevent war supplies entering in support of Chiang Kai Shek. However, the negotiations regarding the number of Japanese troops that could be stationed did end up in the French colonial forces resisting for a few days in September, 1940. I would have to declare that the final arrangement with the French was "under duress, under coercion" - which does not quite square with your suggestion that the entry of Japanese troops was somehow "benign" & an agreement between equals. Or am I misinterpreting your commentary? Happy to stand corrected! Thanks.

I am Japanese and this is the first time I have met a foreigner who looks at history as accurately as you do. Also, I think it's important to remember that an American destroyer shot down the Japanese subumarine before it attacked Pearl Harbor (Ward Incident, Dec. 7). Also, I believe that if Japan had agreed when the U.S. said it wanted to participate in China's Manchurian Railway concession, there would have been no economic sanctions. Also, it's important to note that Soviet spies were working in the dark to turn both the Japanese people and the US president against each other. Half of World War II was due to the Soviet Union's plan to overthrow capitalism (VENONA Document). Thank you very much for uploading this video.

You can find Mad Monarchist’s source to the Marco Polo Bridge incident in his second part series of “The Politically Incorrect Truth About Japan in WWII.” He pointed out to an American journalist that wrote about it in 1937 known as the “Rising Sun.” If you want more journalism read Fredrick Vincent William’s book “Behind the News in China.” I have a copy of it and have read it which is a big shocker. The author goes into details of how people perceived the Chinese as love and caring, but he’s lived in China before the Japanese occupation and when Japan occupied territories like Manchuria and later down to Nanjing and Shanghai questioning the later journalists like Iris Chiang’s “Rape of Nanjing.” Other sources ran by the U.S. government from Bill Clinton to George Bush Jr. called the IWG(Interagency Working Group) have declassified more than 9 million pages of Nazi and Japanese war crime documents debunking truths and myths. This includes the U.S. involvement of finding sources of all colonies that have been occupied by the Japanese including the CIA, U.S. Navy, Army, Air Force, Marines, FBI. Many of these documents are still being declassified. Even the Japanese government was involved with this and sent all documents which many Koreans and Chinese officials under the Global Alliance ran under by the CCP claims the Japanese government was hiding it. Michael Yon a former military soldier who fought in Afghanistan we part of this work of declassifying the myths of Japanese atrocities. Some were there, but they ended up being exaggerated. He’s talked to the former prime minister of Thailand and has heard reports of many others in Asia of the Japanese occupation. I would give that a shot of looking into accounts of Japanese involvement since this is the U.S. armed forces with classified documents involving the myth of Unit 731, massacres in Nanjing and Shanghai, to the Comfort Women.
