this right here is what has catapulted me to become a peer councilor. your series is amazing you are amazing i can only hope to learn as much as i can to become the best peer as i possibly can. thank you so much for all of your work and sharing all of your knowledge. some people dream of meeting actors and musicians i dream of meeting you and learning from you face to face to pick your brain and gain your knowledge.... god bless you and thank you for all you do.

As a student of disabilities studies, I find this documentary and research invaluable. All 5 videos are informative, eye opening and continue to hold relevance in the field of psychiatric care.

My Family were Psychiatric Professionals, I was a Child who became Schizophrenic (as they say) 1969, I was 19 Years old. My family has lots and lots of books, including "The Shame of the States" which had lots of Photographic Evedance of bad conditions. He wrote that in 1949, Clifford Beers, Albert Deutsch"The Shame of the States," and later I was in one of those hospitals, for Years....I was actually in Several State Hospitals, Benton State Hospital, Arkansas, Louisiana Central State Hospital, Pineville, LA. when it closed I was carried to Central State Hospital, Normon Oklahoma, in 1977 I was Released and awarded S.S.I. I am weaned off Drugs and Doctors. Tardive Syndrome and Tourettes (or Something...I started TALKING BACK to my VOICES at some point in time...now I Still Carry On Anamated Conversation with Voices that Come out my Mouth...people who don't know, think there are Several People in my Room. ) I even have had Police Called by people who think Family Abuse is going on.....I am rather glad to be 'KrAzeY....." I have Lots of Friends, (In My Heads) and my Cat has no problem with me...neither my neighbours after all, I am 67 Years old and a Surviver.. of the Mental Health Holocaust. Deutsch, Albert.
