If I had not been told that was a polka, I surely would have mistaken it for a fiddle tune.

Great Video! Just one small correction: the Polka didn‘t come from Eastern Europe, it was invented by a woman in Bohemia (today Czechia), from where it spread to the German speaking lands, where it still is quite popular. Both Bohemia and Germany/Austria are in Central Europe. Otherwise I love the short an on point explaination!
