Before The Supremes, Before The Andrews Sisters, copied by many white girl groups of the time, The Pope Sisters were 4 beautiful, vivacious, talented sisters with great voices but because of the prejudices of the time, the sisters weren't able to become the superstars they deserve to be like the white sisters groups, most of whom copied their style, but The Pope Sisters opened the doors for the black girl groups sensation of the 1960s that would come. The Pope Sisters were definitely trailblazers!
