Well, I felt disturbed when Ed Sullivan made a statement about Jackie and His People on national TV Black and White! I was appaled, when I heard Jackie Wilson sing, and perform, in the 1959 and 1960 era! I was taken back when the song Lonley Tear Drops! And Then Jackie Wilson had a boy that sounds like himself! So now I have Bobby Wilson, singing my 50's and 60's songs from the late and great Jackie Wilson, who was the most active star singing I ever saw in the turn of the 1950's into the 1960's!
the guy at 1:09 crying with the tissue and the little girl crying sitting with the young man at 1:06 no doubt all those not family wonder their names got Jackie whole face
Absolutely Gorgeous and such a talented Singer 🥰🙏🏽🎵🎵🎵🙏🏾🙏🏾🤗🤗🎂🎼🎼🎶🎶🥰🥰👍🏽💖 Fond memories of Jackie 😍😍😍😍 my beloved Sister Barbara adored him.🥰🙏🏾🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰😘❤️🥰❤️
There was one episode on the show which I do remember dancing with Zackerley I wore a blue stripe suite with white boots and my high school friends were there too wish there was definitely more shows with all of us there! Cheryl Ferrando
My two top performers, Elvis and Jackie Wilson! Jackie was rightly called Mr. Excitement! I was sadly thinking that most people forgot him! I am happy to see that his fans remember this one of a kind talent!😢❤❤
I was on the show earlier in 1967. Took the 144 bus from Mt. Pleasant Avenue in West Orange to Military Park in Newark then walked to the TV station on Broad Street. Unbelievable experience at 14 years old.
In 1966, just before my winter break when I was 18, I had a precious memory with Danny Smythe at the Memphis Lounge Club. Even then, like the black TV, I was wearing a suit and black glasses and playing the drums. Listening to music, I was so sad that I couldn't see the concert in the end because I was overwhelmed by people in the hall. At first, I tried not to wait until the end of the stage with my friend in the lobby, but the club manager was calling me from behind. So I followed him and Danismythe gave me signed paper in front of my eyes!! I loved his kind expression and manners even then. If I had come out of the club disappointed, I wouldn't have made any memories with him! But I wasn't a big fan of him at the time, so I didn't know who he was, but I found out who he was by watching the show on black and white TV at the time.
Not only a loving mother⚘❤ a loving father too😇🙏💪 he definitly did'nt have a problem getting us out of his eye sight when it came to going to church every Sunday ❤🙏🤗
Fun show! You will most likely never see these type of shows again. The girls are really cute! Hosted by the late, but FOREVER great, John Zacherly !!!! Thanks for posting this.
