Hey Shane. Can you do a complete "behind the scenes" vid of you doing a full regular one of your YT vids? Not with the edits and post. But say a raw and real-time vid of the whole thing? I love your whole style, it's so smooth and I've learned so much. You also share more than anyone else, but I'd love to see a 'fly on the wall' vid to see warts and all (if you're down with that!) of one of your vids.
That's an interesting idea! Although it would make a pretty boring video, no? But I'll have a think about how to provide such a behind-the-scenes view.
ActiveGrowth wouldn‘t be boring at all, you could show the whole process of getting everything set up properly right until the first couple words spoken.
Love your work, Shane, informative and flowing video as always :) you look so healthy! would you mind share a few tips about lifestyle, daily routines, nutrition/eating, general health, etc? ty for all your work many blessings
Thanks for the video and the gear guide, Shane; it's the perfect resource for one of my clients. Also, I'm wondering what mic you'd recommend for someone like me who wants to create videos from my laptop.
Depends a lot on your budget. A very convenient and high quality mic worth looking at is the Rode NT-USB. Really good quality and it just plugs into your laptop's USB port, so you don't have to worry about external recorders or XLR cables or anything like that.
@@ActiveGrowth Thanks for your recommendation; I'll keep it in mind when my budget allows. In the meantime (luckily for me), I just realized I have a Bluetooth headset/mic that will be "good enough" to get started with. I'd totally forgotten about it because it's been stashed in my "hurricane season emergency kit."
Shane, Thank you very much for your very quality contents. Question: How do you combine audio and video records. In your course you record your voice using external mic. Is it easy to sync audio and video using software. On the other side, i probably will stop and record countless times in one video. If i record both on separate channels then editing might be a nightmare. How do you do yourself? And any solution if we want to record both audio and video in one single file? Editing might be hard? Thanks in advance
The entire side of your face is in dark shadow. Suggest perhaps adding another light (fill light) about 90 degrees off from the main light (key light) near the camera. Fill light is more important than a background light. Also consider a hair light.
I like the high-contrast look, tbh. I'd place the light more centrally, beauty-light style, to eliminate the shadow and keep the back-light (to avoid ugly shadows on the wall).
