Water, Earth, Fire, Air... My grandmother used to tell me stories about the old days, a time of peace when the Avatar kept balance between the Water Tribes, Earth Kingdom, Fire Nation, and Air Nomads. But that all changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar mastered all four elements. Only he could stop the ruthless firebenders, but when the world needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years have passed and the Fire Nation is nearing victory in the War. Two years ago, my father and the men of my tribe journeyed to the Earth Kingdom to help fight against the Fire Nation, leaving me and my brother to look after our tribe. Some people believe that the Avatar was never reborn into the Air Nomads, and that the cycle is broken. But I haven't lost hope. I still believe that somehow, the Avatar will return to save the world.

I finished watching Avatar for the first time yesterday, and literally haven't been able to stop crying since...

ATLA has just amassed such an amazing community. Most fandoms get extremely toxic. Don't get me wrong, there's still the few bad eggs, but for the most part we just wanna drink tea together

Aang. Zuko. The two characters that i connected to throughout my life. As a child i saw myself as Aang a lot, the carefree and highspirited child. Then situations happened and i saw more of Zuko inside me the anger and bitterness i felt drove me to do some pretty stupid stuff. But.. like both of these amazing characters. I found my path. I found my balance. I restored my own honor, i found my purpose in life. And like both characters, i couldn't have done it myself. "Life happens wherever you are, whether you make it or not." My goodness. At 3:37 onwards, the impeccable melding of Avatar's love and Leaves from the vine, transitioning into such sublime combination of Aang's and Korra's theme with hints of avatar's love/LFTV in the background and and then into The Final Blow. Chills all over.. There has only been another piece of music in my opinion that has such complexity, depth and perfection to it and it was written by a great, Battle of Pelennor Fields by Howard Shore. I'm amazed and there are no words to describe. Thank you Rush Garcia!

Truly a masterpiece. Every character, every moment. NOTHING is wasted in this show. That's why people are still talking about it all this time later! I'm SO GLAD Netflix's adding this to their site is bringing even MORE new fans to this immortal, excellent story!!!

Oh my God. Hearing Iroh's song just gave me chills. Amazing work, Rush. This is every bit as good as your original piece. But better in so many ways. This one feels much more soothing altogether. Love it

ANYONE ELSE CRYING THEIR EYES OFF ;-; Edit: My guy, that was some absolute masterful transitions. To just vividly see the growth from your old orchestration (which was still amazing by the way) is astounding. Every tiny detail is felt in this piece and you can see how much care went into each sound. I am at a loss for words. I felt like I was being taken on a journey through the entire series with this song. Thank you again Rush for everything that you do man, we love you!

Can't believe that avatar is now more than a decade old. Time passing by so quickly makes me sad sometimes but I always the remember the quote from Iroh, ”Life happens wherever you are, whether you make it or not.”

God the nostalgia. This show was a masterpiece, and I'm so happy that it/ the fandom is having a sort of revival.

Me: Oh my god this rearranged version is Thrilling!! Hear Leaves from the vine. Me: Instantly start crying. This version is propably one of the best song I've ever heard! I literally get chills every single time. AMAZING!!

This brings me back to 5th grade. It was before junior high stifled my extrovertedness and before I ran away to the sanctuary of animation, anime, and the internet. My little sister, our exchange student from Taiwan, and I would all sit around the television after dinner and watch a chapter on Nickelodeon. I loved that time..

This is beautiful, a perfect representation of my childhood to celebrate Avatar's coming back onto Netflix :D

Reminds me of the pure times.. I started watching this with my brother who was attracted to the message that this show presented.. he passed away at the age of 27 during a period of depression shortly after the passing of my father at 52… I didn’t get to finish the show till recently.. I’m 27 and now I’m getting over all of this and also lost my job and felt like a broken spirit.. watching the rest of the series and especially the part where he goes through his chakras provided so much peace.. I wish this episode was compulsory. I’m trying to watch it with my nephews, like how my brother used to watch it with me, so that they can carry on this pure learning

I'm 39 and only watched the show for the first time a few years back and omg. What a magical, compelling and thought provoking experience. They don't make adult tv this good. This show made me contemplate, reflect and value even more those I care about. The story of Aang is a treasure I will always carry in my heart. This is a show for everyone. Full of heart, heartbreak, courage and life lessons. It is required viewing for my kids lol

I too binge watched it like 4 times in the last 3 years when I rediscovered it since my childhood. A true gem in every perspective: Story, visuals, fighting, characters, Music, you name it. Everything is perfect in my opinion. I'm so looking forward to the Netflix thing.

I started watching ATLA for the very first time, ever about a month ago. I fell in love with it immediately. I'm currently on the last few episodes and I find myself not wanting to finish it.... I don't want it to end 🥺 this story has brought tears, laughs, joy, anger and sadness into my life and it's more than a series to me now. I love all the characters as if they were real. I worry about them and love them all so much

This is the music you get to hear inside yourself when you accept the truth, the differences and everything that makes Aang, Korra, and all of the avatars unique, special and great in their own ways. This is when you achieve the balance, when you accept that life is not only made up of joyful tones but also those melnacholic and sorrowful moments that comes. It is the evolution, the flow through the ages and all that comes in the infinite time, the harmonious convergence of yin and yang, good and evil, life and death... Truly both of them are great, undisputable and exemplary in every way.

i finished avatar yesterday after watching it through the course of three days ( a season per day) and its the greatest tv show I've ever seen, I've never cried this much before

In my opinion, this shows how much an artist has grown. Taking an already great piece and making it better than before. I’ve been a fan for years and I keep enjoying every piece you release. I eagerly wait for each new release.

Only great movie can make you happily cry from memories of it and from its soundtrack, and only a good musician can save these feelings while rearranging. That being said, thank you, Rush.

I needed to hear this because it's in dark times do I find myself feeling as if nothing in life is going my way. But i sometimes forget that life should be appreciated and that I need to take a step back and be thankful for the ups and down life has thrown my way. Life is not only about experiencing the good times but the bad as well, just as much as you cant define the color white without the color black and vice versa. This world would be a better place if people were a bit more humble. Nonetheless this piece of art embodies what the world should strive for. Rest in peace Makoto Iwamatsu December 10, 1933 - July 21, 2006 whenever I watch Avatar, I can never stop thinking about what vibrance, and liveliness that Mako brought to the character of Iroh. he was an incredibly talented, actor. it makes me so sad that we lost such an incredible person that brought life to the screen. the series was the pivot point in my childhood as I watch it over and over again now that I am near 18. it brings me so much nostalgia. thank you for making this. for me, Avatar shows us hope. it shows us hope for a better tomorrow. this may have come out completely wrong but I hope I got my point across.

One of the reasons I haven't been able to bring myself to watch the series. The music is so good, yet it carries such a heavy melancholic scent that I'm afraid of losing what I don't have yet. I watched avatar as a kid for a few episodes but have never delved deep into the series.
