Hey Guys! For those of you who haven't checked it out, I also did a Purple Shampoo Hair Test Video as well prior to filming this one! I also mentioned the difference between Purple and Blue at 1:37 of this video ! Hope you guys enjoy! :) - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hGXbqSQGZPU.html
I had fanola no yellow and it made my hair yellow 😂 i also tried the redken purple shampoo smells amazing makes your hair feel great ! But turns your hair yellow as well!!! My hair is silvery idk what one to use !!!!
The extra blue pigmented ones (Fanola and Joico) turned your hair green because your hair is more yellow than orange. Blue cancels out orange. Blue and yellow = green. You probably need more of a purple based shampoo like the matrix which is why you got a good result with that strand.
I did a video with Purple Shampoo prior to this video. I also stated the difference between blue & purple in the beginning of this video as well. I wanted to see and show the difference of Blue Shampoo vs Purple. Purple shampoo video is here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hGXbqSQGZPU.html
When I was blonde I used the matrix brass off + the conditioner and it was LIFE CHANGING. The brass off conditioner leaves your hair so incredibly soft
This might be one of the BEST blue shampoo videos so far because of the four sections on your own hair and you used brands I've never heard of or didn't know exist. All anyone knows is Wella or Shimmering Lights 😅 but thank you so much for your service, great video! 🌸
Matrix Brass off is my fave, the Joico isn’t bad at all either , what made it green is the fact that you have more yellow tones than orange so blue and yellow make green .
The Joico has already yellow in it. It's aquablue. That is the reason why it comes out green. Pure blues look kind of "purple". She didn't have the same problem with the other three candidates and this is also the reason why their formulas look more purple, to prevent the green.
Mayra, I bought the Joico but was going to purchase the Matrix, but when I read the back it said that it was for blondes. I am a brunette who went lighter with highlights that went brassy. Can you tell me more about the matrix vs. the joico? Thank you!!!
The fanola no yellow is the best shampoo for blonde bleached hair! It works sooooo good even after just one use. The only con for me is that it dyes your hands purple slightly!
Joico is my favorite! I have darker hair which is why it works best for me it helps take out the reddy orange tones from my dark bronzey hair that has been balayaged with bleach! Otherwise my hair would be bright orange at the ends instead if that pretty golden blonde! I use it everyday on my hair bc I have an oilier scalp so my hair can take it, if you’re can’t that’s totally okay too! Different results for different hair ☺️ joico was clearly more pigmented tho which is why it turned it slightly green!
I am breathing a sigh of relief right now. I ordered the Matrix just before I saw your video. I agree, I think you had the best result with Matrix. Thank you for the comparison video.
OMG this video saved my hairs life. I appreciate you for this one !! Lord knows I scrolled through RU-vid for 10 minutes before I found a vid this good !!
The Husk has no sulfates or parabens and is better for your hair on the long run. Also it has a conditioner that is very hydrating and a deep conditioner that is awesome as well. If you use the whole system it's great.
I love joico! I swear by their shampoo, purple, blue, and repair damage. My hair is ACTUALLY clean after, it gets out any stubborn products, and i also wash my hair roughly once a week. Joico is my favorite hair brand! At home salon experience! Worth the expense
When you have yellow hair you should use more purple coloured shampoo than blue, because purple is complementary colour to yellow. And when you mix yellow and blue, it makes green so that is why some of the hair strands turned green rather than just cool toned. And when you have very warm lightbrownish/orange hair, then should use blue shampoos(complementary colour to orange) like in this vid! 😃 for example fanola has a great purple shampoo for blonde hair if you want to test that out😊
My hairstylist recommended, Matrix for my hair and I love it!! Easily the best of all I've tried and it doesn't dry your hair. It's moisturizing and smells great! Thanks for the video!
I use the Matrix Purple Shampoo Oh So Silver. My hair is Dark Brown like yours and it has a lot of WARM Tones that like to Show up all the time. So thank you for showing the Matrix Blue Shampoo. I need that. 🙌🙌💙💙💙❤❤❤
For anyone out there that can help. I believed the joico actually worked the best but since her hair is a very light blonde and with the blue shampoo it’s gonna make green & that one stood out the most with color . I’m thinking of buying the joico, but my question is she probably should have started with a deeper blonde then maybe a silver color then I believe doing blue last would have showed up? Everyone likes the matrix that one came out good but it was more of a silver tone barely any blue I would say jaico cause it came out so green but it just did cause her hair is to light.
Hello! I have a few questions. - How long does the shampoo's effect last? - How often do you have to apply it to keep the desired tone for your hair? -Do you feel your hair dryer or the same after continually using it?
When I had blonde hair, I used the matrix brass off and loved it! Btw ulta has a jumbo sale where you can get the jumbo 1liter bottles for 15.99-19.99. They have the sale twice a year and its coming up on july
CAREFUL when buying hair products from amazon. Many of my clients have had counterfit issues with amazon and hair products, in which the prodcuts are diluted with water or diluted with suave or pantene.
I read somebody’s comment on Facebook that Matrix’s blue shampoo is the best. They were a professional. As a product junkie, I promptly ordered it from Amazon LOL.
The joico went green because your hair looks predominantly yellow, and because of the joico being sooooo blue... Blue + yellow = green. The ones with a more purple tint worked best for this reason. I've worked with joico before and I would never recommend it to a client with bleach blonde hair for that reason. On orange, brassy hair, blue is best! But on yellow bleached hair... Its a big no 😂 great experiment to show the difference though!
What about Joico purple/ or it's actually Joico bayalage purple shampoo & conditioner? I just got my hair done from med brown to blonde with my roots still dark& spent $50+ on the Joico purple shampoo & conditioner. Debating on whether or not exchanging it for the Matrix brass off ?
You pulled a lot of greens because blue shampoo is for orange tones. Blue plus yellow make green. Your hair was very golden toned so you would use a violet to wash.
Wow I was curious about the joico but now no way will I use that on my clients , I just tried the Matrix one and game changer I will stick with that one , thanks so much for the video .
River there is brassy and some orange areas in her hair , she was trying to remove those areas , blue shampoo shouldn’t turn the hair green , I have been doing hair for over 30 years and know basic color theory thanks that .
I have a dark blonde light brown natural hair color and it doesn't matter if I go dark or light my hair pulls reds like crazy. I got a full head of highlights with a toner that I absolutely love and I didn't want it turning brassy. The Hask was the first thing I bought after looking at my options for a half hour. With the shampoo and conditioner combo my hair hasn't gone red at all and I actually had a hairstylist that I see almost daily ask me if I lightened it again 3 weeks after I had it done (I have not). I don't use product on my hair daily and only wash may hair 2 to 3 times a week depending on what product I do put in my hair which is typically a sea salt spray on days I don't have time in the morning to actually blow it out. I also don't use dry shampoos.
This is great! I found the Matrix on sale in my country, like dirt cheap, and I thought it must be crap. But I was wrong! So I'm gonna order the Matrix right away!
I LOVE the Matrix Brass Off. I have naturally silver, gray, black...mostly silver hair and that stuff works sooo good! I love the violet tint it leaves. Thats the thing though with the Matrix, if you use it too much it will dye your hair purple. I don't mind it though....oe even in one wash it might dye it purple, but i will wash out.
Thank you. I have the matrix and the fanola as well the Matrix is beautiful.. extremely deceiving out of bottle and on a paper but once washed and done its beautiful.
Thank you so so match for this video. I remember looking for a video like this on BLUE shampoo few months ago (probs why yt recommended me this one) and there was NOTHING good. I'm so happy I didn't get the crazed up Fanola, Matrix won💯💯💯
Just one look at the Joyco I knew it would come out green. I think that one is especially for darker hair. I had the same experience with a blue direct dye that also had a bit of yellow in the formula.
The only reason the Joico shampoo went green is because it was a true blue and you are putting it on a yellow blonde base. Yellow and blue make green, which is why most blue shampoos are meant to cancel out darker orangey tones and purple shampoo will cancel out the yellow tones. Its all about colour theory and the colour wheel.
I like a root I did a shadow root after I bleached my hair I'm like her I have fine thin hair I cant be bleaching my hair CONSTANTLY lol I wouldn't have any lol
Just want to say, I realise this has been said before, your hair is too light for blue, hence it turning green...yellow+blue=green...the blue would have canceled out orange hair...
I did my hair at home and it actually looks great the roots are brassy and the ends were I used purple shampoo are like violet and platinum blonde I went into the hair salon hoping they would tone me and they said I didn’t need it I just needed to try the matrix brass off blue shampoo and they give me a conditioner as well I’m hoping it works.. I’ve tried 2 purple shampoos in 3 days and they haven’t done nothing .. but the at the hair salon they did tell me I could leave me it on for 10 mins so fingers crossed!
You should have put it closer to the top than the bottom because the top blonde looks darker then your mid to ends. Then you woulda seen what you should use blue on. Purple is more for your mid to ends.
Unfortunately this would not work for me as my hair right now is not that bleached. My hair is more level 8 now and it’s just plain orange when not toned with blue. When it’s toned it’s not white (purple will do that but not blue) - it makes my hair a beautiful ash beige/dark blonde. And honestly I’m tired of white anyways. It fries your hair to a crisp even when you don’t see it. But you can go dark blonde with a hair dye and it’s more gentle to the hair than bleach. But if you want to highlight your hair, you can do a few streaks in the front with a gentle bleach like Wella Freelights in white bottle. But there’s no need to fry your hair - it will take away from volume and healthy shine!
