So often in marriage, we focus on giving.
We hear phrases like, "Put your partner's needs before your own."
Or, "You need to be selfless, and be willing to fill your partner's love tank."
The sentiment is nice, but if we're always giving all the time, there's no way for anyone to receive what's being given.
Sometimes the greatest gift you can offer your partner is being a generous receiver.
Today I'm going to chat with New York Times bestselling author, Laura Doyle. We're going to talk about the gift that it is to be a good receiver in marriage. (Learn more about her here: lauradoyle.org/)
And we're going to give you some practical tips to help you get better at receiving whatever goodness your partner sends your way.
