Wonderful video David, thank you. Building models teaches me patience and perserverance. As a Network administrator they are two qualities I use in my everyday work.
Such great points! I so agree with them all. I started building again 4 years ago after a 30 year highatis. I fell in love with it all again. Its very relaxing for me and a perfect way to express my inner artist. Delving into the video making world has also been extremely fun. Excellent video!
Thank you Jerry, much appreciated. I got back into it after a 20+ year break. I still can't believe I ever let myself get out of it but, that's life and sometimes Life happens. Thanks for watching.
I greatly enjoyed your video. A friend of mine insists that we learned to read-more than 60 years ago-because we built scale models. We wanted to learn the history of the plane, ship, tank we were building and we also learned to follow directions. Not too bad for a hobby. Thanks for this posting.
Excellent video. You brought up some great points especially the creative outlet and mindfulness that the hobby brings. I have enjoyed the hobby since childhood and it has taught me a lot. For me, scale modeling is fun and a great way to reduce the stresses of the day.
I was just explaining the mindfulness it provides in a world of chaos to my mother. She just sees very tiny parts and thinks that makes it stressful while it doesn’t at all really!
