This music brings tears to my eyes. God is wonderful, I can’t thank him enough. People who know me and my husband in our area. They know what we have been through and how long it took us to be successful and where we are at the moment. If you are familiar withe scriptures, I mean the word of God you can tell that Jesus always talked about destiny helpers and I met mine 6 years ago.. I met Mr Andrew in a church seminar 6 years ago. He is a young man with a good heart. God used him to change my life and the lives of people around us. It was a huge step we took and we do not regret it. I always talk about him everywhere pardon me. If you are out there and loosing hope I want you to know that God has plans for everyone of us. i feel my story should encourage a lot of people. My daughter went to Guatemala on a mission trip her freshman year of college. She said that kids in Guatemala were so unlike kids here in the US. She said they didn't hear one temper tantrum. She said that they were happy to just find a stick and play with it. It definitely changed her view of how blessed we are in this country. It also made me thankful for running, clean warm water.
That is very true but I also ask my self if we are the blessed ones or if they are? Because I don’t remember being mad for not having something when I was little or not being grateful for any little thing I got. I had very little but I didn’t know that until I got older and came here.I think that not having a lot it’s also a blessing because you don’t have to learn to be grateful, you just are grateful for everything.

It's kind of difficult for me to understand why a thankful attitude should come from comparing one's seemingly better situation with another that appears less privileged. We all are God's children and God meets us differently. Life is deep. We should be thankful to God for His mercies without comparing ourselves with others. No one knows who's better than the other. By the way, I love Joyce and her team.

Yes, every time I pass a homeless person or a mother with children at the bus stop and like Joyce said “a warm bed “. Choice foods in refrigerator. Washing machine. The little things are big things to those without. Been watching Joyce for 25 years and she has been a great encouragement.🙏
I once read a post from Humans of New York where he interviewed a homeless woman who just wished she could wake up in a warm house read the paper & make herself a pot of coffee. It struck me so much, the little things we take for granted, others pray or wish for it every day 😟
This is a comment to what Jai was addressing around the 5 minute mark. In a marriage where there has been infidelity, often times it has nothing to do with the spouse who was cheated on. It's good to be accountable and recognize our part in the dissolve of the marriage (it's actually vital!) , but honestly ....most times the desire to cheat comes to fruition because it was in that persons heart, plain and simple. Some ppl want to gratify their flesh rather than die to it. I pray 🙏 that Jai AND all God's people who were hurt in a marriage will be Blessed 🙌 with a recompense far better that what they lost.
I am not sorry for my brain surgeries that I endured. I am not sorry for having to relearn how to talk. I am not sorry for this current cognitive deficit of having difficulty with my brains auditory system. Each of these trials have given me experience with huge aspects of my daughter's struggle with autism. I can now give her advice, understand her, and be patient with her. I know that who I was before these brain struggles would not have been the mom that she needed. God provides he makes a way. During the worst of my struggle, I remember telling God, "I know that I am going through this to help someone I will encounter in my future. And I guarantee you that I don't care enough for this hard time to be worth it." Boy, was I wrong. Thank you, God, for your patience with me!

That is a good point, Joy e is right with compassion & pity. I have total compassion for the girl that was cheated on and now divorced. I can truly feel compassion for her. I know that soul crushing pain. I wasn’t married but in a long relationship that I wanted to marry him. I felt it broke me for a bit, but in reality it’s how I developed a real relationship w/ Jesus. The pain I turned to God. So, it’s true hard things being such gifts

Thank you for this refreshing podcast. I’m currently binge-watching while on vacation. It’s the coolest Bible study anyone can desire. I’m 71 and followed Joyce since I didn’t know what she looked like, and imagined her to look similar to “Mrs. Doubtfire” due to her strong deep voice. I also am a long time partner, and have attended many conferences. I also refuse to receive the negative comments about the ministry.

I don’t want to come across the wrong way. When I hear ‘someone is always going through something worse,’ it is true in some sense, however, this society too quickly says ‘oh just forget about it. And many other things. My point is that I know, because I grew up in chaos, abuse, neglect… I so easily dismiss real pain n now that I can’t, (I still dismiss physical pain more easily), I am having so much traumatic hurt that at times I don’t want to be here, exist. I pray, God please take me home?! No intention of self harm, yet I was drinking many years ago to try to drown myself, it didn’t work. I can’t articulate what I am trying to say, so I will say this. Instead of saying that I encourage Miss Joyce to tell people to get help, reach out. Because I have been on healing journey for many years, I have great supports. I simply ask you Joyce, please don’t say that? People dismiss, get dismissed n it delays a person from moving forward, from becoming all that God wants us to be. Thank you 🙏❤️
I have been through a life threatening illness. I'm so grateful for the teaching I have had through Joyce's ministry. I know how to fight my spiritual and physical battles. With the Word of God. I'm so glad Joyce Meyer addressed the elephant in the room: Jay's issue with forgiveness. I would appreciate this podcast more if Jay wouldn't dredge up her past on every single episode as an opportunity to criticize her ex. I'd like to hear more talk about love and forgiveness.
Is a process. Is easier to say when you are not the person going trough it. Also, is easier to notice it and pin point it. It will take time, and sometimes it takes going trough something to realize how we were trough it and how to be better. Also, it takes patience and kindness from those around you.
I am less than 10 minutes in but I hear her taking accountability and saying she was not as thankful as she could be which was on topic. Joyce always talks about her childhood with her father? ❤️
