The part where Andrew gets sucked in and starts moving around is one of the best pieces of animation i've ever seen. It genuinely looks like someone who has just got sucked into a game and has no idea how to move about. Serious kudos.

Watched it all...poor Andrew. It feels like he only accepted the deal because he knew that the alternative was death. I wonder if he'll continue to play along afterward or he'll subtly try to rebel later on.

This is such a breath of fresh air compared to most other analog horror creepypasta videos on the internet, the thematic consistency and legitimately good game design here is insane I love how Buggy (or I've just affectionately referred to him as the 0 Man, as I exclaimed "Oh, man!" when I saw him) presents legitimate challenges to the player whereas Peach presents nothing but impossible to win horror scenarios. The 0 Man will ask to play a game with you, and then, without a fraction of irony, make you play a game with him. The scene where he thanked Andrew for playing with him honestly hit kind of hard, as most other malicious creepypasta entities tend to lack the 0 Man's level of transparency and tomfuckery. Phenomenal job with this, I cannot wait to see where this goes.

...Yeah, you probably should've listened to Peach, Andrew. Despite everything, she legit feels like the lesser evil between herself and Buggy.

I am, astonished by this. The story, the characters, the coding, basically everything. We seen many fun twist and turns, many details to be astonished about, many things to enjoy and be sad about. We may or may not have changed throughout many paths and has gone onto many things, but once we look back onto this. It's a masterpiece, it has the many details many could not think of and the best thing, you took your time, I'm proud. Hell WE are proud of you, for moving on and making one of the BES STORIES of series lime these, so for now rest. You earned it.

i really like how andrew has some character to him, like with him being really bad at the first wario boss fight and hitting the red eyes a lot when playing as mario, and him talking to the dead toad and hitting the buggy block despite them seeming very unsafe, and him looking around a lot after having his essence put in the game, and when he tries to avoid going back into the lava during the course clear, and him deciding to not trust peach at all, it made me actually be sad about what happened to andrew at the end because i got attached to him, so good job being able to do that

Sometimes I prefer happy endings but this... but I loved this ending, it's sad to see how it ended badly in that universe... but as much as the story, the coding, it leaves me with a closed mouth... GOOD JOB Greenlight!

Y'know, after rewatching Part 3 to refesh my memory as to what Peach was talking about when she asked why Andrew hadn't listened to her, I honestly dunno if things would've turned out any better for Andrew had he listened to her compared to how things played out here. Back then, she was talking about, "if *she* should be in charge of the torture now," so I kinda doubt things'd end on a positive note even if he sided with Peach and/or recognized that Toad was possessed sooner. Though, it does make me curious as to how differently this would've played out if he did listen to her regardless.

I really enjoyed this episode, especially the Buggy boss fight. Seeing a big threat using power-ups is a pretty cool concept, and you did it amazingly. And the skydive segment was beyond sick as heck! And the part where Andrew gets digitized into the game was really interesting to see. Great job on this, Greenlight!

From what i understand, this series is separated in 2 parts The 1st part takes place in January and is about the Wario apparition, where Wario gets possessed by Buggie, Peach turns into a goddess like entity. The player being Andrew, who was later killed and now known as "Luigi" after he made a deal with Buggie The 2nd part takes place 6 months later (according to the dates in the description) and is about Mario being missing (who was another one of Buggie's victims). Later the new player Zachary found what's left of Peach and consumes her vessel

I like how, after he gets sucked into the game, after a bit he tests his abilities out- he knows he’ll probably need them.

There's a small detail i picked up on that i don't think anyone has noticed: when Toad dies, Andrew's face is full of grief, but once Buggy jumps out the body, his facial expression changes to one of surprise/rage another fun detail is that once Buggy becomes bigger, his arms are actually inverted versions of the river twygz bed hands

As I've seen many people trying to find the source music for the confrontation between Andrew and "Peach" at 16:39, the theme is from Earthbound - The Cliff that Time Forgot. Stunning use of that piece.

This is amazing. I can't even fathom how long it must have taken for the section of Luigi falling, let alone this entire thing. The effort you put into this is incredible, and this series has definitely cemented itself in my heart for that. Whatever you go on to do next, I'll definitely be here for it.

9:32 now this is how you do horror. No jump scares. No stupid repetitive horror designs for every horror monster. No nonstop yelling to catch you off guard. And no mentioning other horror story’s. No hyper realistic bullcrap. No unrealistic horror designs. Everyone looks like what they should look like so you can actually tell this is Mario bros, ( until it goes to horror) no stupid protagonists that try’s to be a badass and swears a lot. Forth wall breaking in a horror story thats done right and works well in a scary story and doesn’t use it to jump scare you. And some awesome animations. And no stupid gross out parts to try to scare you. And the monster is actually scary. And not just a random creep in a costume, and no dumb twist at the end. This is what I think of wean I think of horror.

My jaw absolutely dropped at the quality of this. I'm genuinely speechless. This is absolutely amazing, and I hope you're proud of all the incredible work you've done!

This genuinely feels like a fever dream and has way, way more effort than any of these other video game creepypasta-esque type videos I've seen. I'm not saying it's "realistic" or anything, but I feel like this could of been a nightmare I had when I was a kid after playing Super Mario World all night. It nails a very specific vibe and I like it.

Really love how the story telling is out of order- awesome being able to tell what's going on with the timeline after piecing it together. But... wow. This ultimately makes Andrew's fate all that much more tragic. They took the deal because there wasn't an alternative, and the deal was broken leading to consequences. Poor guy.

i like the way how the player checked if toad had anymore dialogue after he was done talking like a true fasioned actual player lol

This episode is amazing, but my favorite part of it are the sneaky references to other Mario horror games. The SMB2 Boss music being used as a chase theme was also done in Mario 85, and Luigi burning being a reference to I HATE YOU. But these references aren't so on the nose that they break the immersion, but are instead fun nods. They may even be coincidences, and I'm just looking too deep into it. But either way, this episode knocked it out of the park!

This series... Truly an amazing example of how dedicated EXE/Personalized Mario fans can be to what they love, but the fact that this series still isn't over just baffles me! What more could there possibly be? I guess we'll see in the future. Keep up the good job, and take your time, Greenlight

I only discovered this series a couple of days ago but my God. This is definitely up there with other Mario creepypasta medias. I mean seriously, the animation and overall presentation is just so fine tuned. When Andrew becomes digitized and seeing his head turn back to when the Peach entity is chasing him is just so visceral to me. Awesome work Greenlight, you really know what you're doing.

The way you turned the game into not only a pretty chilling horror story, but also a genuinely fun looking Mario fangame is crazy. At this point, I don't know who to trust (besides Luigi). And I hope we can learn more about Mario's role in all of this, he's been kind of taking a back seat throughout this series as in he doesn't seem to have much of an important role (EDIT) I also noticed that something happened to Luigi prior to this tape, as you can see him in TPSA 5 on the character select screen with his clothes inverted. I finally caught up to this and I am glad I did, this entire series is great and I can't wait to see more of what you create! Each and every episode kept me wondering and wanting more, the dynamic between Andrew, Buggy and HER/False god was quite interesting, the level desing looks legitamtly fun to play, the writing was wonderful and the bosses looked very well desigined, more gaming creepypastas/ or just game based horror stories should actually show the game being played and I am glad you did that. Thank you for this series. Also the fact that events of the story happen during my birthday makes me feel funny. Poor Andrew was fighting for his now non existant life out here meanwhile I was eating cake lmao!

dude i am OBSESSED with this. i had my doubts in the first few videos but you really cranked it up to 20 and put your all into this project and it shows... during the deathmatch scene when you transitioned to the falling sequence my girlfriend and i actually stood up and started yelling with excitement, it was nuts. it feels like a season finale everything makes so much more sense in retrospect now (especially after checking each video for the recording date to line things up), and that makes me like the previous videos 100x more!! it's so clever how little elements like the UI design and the player character hint toward the larger story, and the visual spectacle really makes up for areas that might be a bit more awkwardly handled. i'd really love to see you make a playable horror game!!! this is such a technically and narratively impressive series, i can't WAIT to see how it goes forward. the spritework is excellent too! i'm picking up a lot of inspiration from both 'the (coronation day) and the NES Godzilla Creepypasta and both work so well... as far as the sequence of events goes (forgive me if i'm wrong, need to go back and watch again): andrew gets peach burned by the apparition, burned peach starts seeking revenge, andrew gets digitized, zachary begins playing, peach offers her vessel, andrew tries to help and gets killed for it, right? this is so cool edit: gf and i were theorizing about what peach could be, and we thought she might be representative of a firewall? since the moment she's 'sealed away' is when things get really wacky, and she's hostile to both andrew and the apparition, but only after andrew sides with it. that and her association with very literal walls of fire lol

Points of interest (At least to me): - Peach seemed to be a nessesary evil to keep Buggy (the eyeball thing) away, or at least scared enough not to do anything. This is apparent when after Andrew killed/sealed Peach away, Buggy revealed themself to him and toyed with Andrew for the rest of video. Knowing that Peach can't attack/stop them. - It's possible that Buggy was using Toad's body as a disguise to fool Andrew into sealing away Peach. In fact, their reveal was forshadowed at the start with the trivia game. - During Buggy's "boss fight", they seem to be able to use powerups. This is a smaller detail, but something I found intriguing. - At this point, Andrew is doomed to be Luigi for eternity. As his physical body is dead in the real world. What happens to him next is unknown for now. - Buggy really likes using save state 0. That is all for now. Have a good day everyone!

Very well done entry, I believe the time used for this was put to good use as this is the most ambitious and cleaned entry on the power star archives as of writing this, the little fake out on the quiz was a very nice introduction to this episode, the gameplay was solid, and the fish eye lens effect made it more engaging, at the very least to me, the changes of pitch in the voice lines was a nice touch, luigi's hesitation to approach toadstool was spot on for the viewer as we've seen before she's lone gone from her former self, as the fire awaits as the background scrolls with a clear sign of impatience judging from the text written, seeing toad with a inverted colour palette was shocking from cross referencing the older episodes at first glance, something I find peculiar is some of the lack of detail in the sprites, and I'm not saying this in the negative sense, as luigi's new detail on his eyes make a number of different possible interpretations, tears? blood? it's hard to tell and I think that's a very good to have if you want to have the viewer decide, the music choice is remarkable, especially when toadstool confronts andrew, I find it very fitting alongside the chase with some nice visual distortion, as mentioned before toad's fate was seem from afar, although I will say a match between the two is fair in my eye, his tactics on the other hand aren't, but the usage of switching to the foreground is by far my favorite, the change in perspective as buggy leaps from the sky and tears the floor seemed fun to say the least and the landing was comical to say the least, seeing buggy use power ups was also engaging as the ceiling began to close in, the road across the looping room was calm despite what happened prior and so was the speech, it felt genuine, he laughed and danced and chuckled for seeing someone's stomach tear apart, I sure do wonder what's next to come for this series, and I thank thank you Greenlight for releasing this episode.
