0:57 - That's honestly one of the things I've always respected about Multiversus in terms of movesets. The team has shown they clearly care about the source materials and try to honor them to the best of their abilities. And for the most part I think they nail a lot of what they want to do in terms of presentation. Like you said, balance is another thing entirely, but that's just beating a puddle that used to be a dead horse lol As far as changing the game for the better, I am curious what they have in store because one of the MVS ambassadors implied that the notes for the next update are going to be pretty massive. So hopefully they took feedback from people to try and make Season 3 a better start off than Season 2 was
I am curious to know how much it'll change. I know they said they're going after the "floatiness" of the game. Which makes me worry how will juggles be affected?
I completely agree with this pfg knows how to design fun and interesting characters based on existing ip and make them so entertaining to play. I’m thinking through the roster and the only one that dosent have as intresting as a move set is banana guard and even then sometimes enjoy playing as him.
They need to fix the main issues with the game like the physics, hitbox/ hurtbox, being able to spam certain moves with now consequence, up speical not putting u in free fall like most if not all platform fighters. Its like getting open heart surgery then using painter tape to seal up the wound
I know they're apparently going to alter the game's floatiness, so there's one point I would be dumbfounded if Joker didn't get *any* cuts in this update

I disagree with the presence of Jason and Stripe players…a bit They’re not as popular as other characters but it’s scary/frustrating realizing how low they’ll try to kill you
Having this game under WB is like a double-edged sword. On one hand, awesome characters like the PPG! On the other hand, WB could be breathing down the developer's necks, and I wouldn't know for sure. I feel like the developers obviously care about the game and the characters, especially with how much love is put into these designs, but I'm afraid that their going to be ruined by decisions they aren't even allowed to make. I don't know how game development works, especially when big companies and intellectual properties are involved, but I hope this game reaches its potential soon.
I'm a novice programmer and I know for a fact that coding is hard, a single typing mistake can fuck with the whole code and may cause a bug or glitch. While my knowledge is mostly on website design I can only imagine how hard it is for them to develop a game, the Multiversus team clearly likes the game and wants to make it as good as it can possibly be, but a lot of people seem to blame them for games problems when the management team of WB is likely the biggest reason for any short comings, just look at Suicide Squad Kill the Justice or the recent Concord fiasco, the people working on the game's coding and mechanics are not the problem but the management team that makes them include or change things to appeal to a certain audience or to make more bucks

Uhh.. idk about that. There's a lot of system mechanic changes that are dropping. The games faster, more dodge momentum, some characters got new moves. And a lot of Low tiers got new combo routes entirely. They reworked air momentum and downairs universally. Not saying the game is "saved" or anything but let's give the devs credit where it's due. They made a LOT of changes. Not just "new character lol"
I know it would be a couple rehaul of gameplay but I think they just need to speed up the whole game by .25 or .5. Also we need the camera to be more zoomed out I’m tired of it.
I find it intresting how they put a phone on the right side like there going to call another hero this might be hopeful thinking after all the the psa did tease raven but at same time I don’t think there going to do two dc characters in same season
I know during Season 1, they did alter the big promo pic when they added Jason and Agent Smith. So it wouldn't be too out of line to assume the phone was hiding someone else
I had that hope for season 2 but this one seems more likely considering they already teased raven in that trailer and it fits with the theme a girl related season
I hate... like full blown HATE that they've switched to releasing characters only 2 at a time per season. The return season had them release 4! Im not saying they need to do that each time but why not split the difference and release 3? Jack and Beetlejuice were both awesome, but lets face it. The PPG are going to be the stars of the next season while everyone looks at Nubia and a majority are going to say 1 of 3 things: "Who?" "Oh great another Wonder Woman. Nerf her!" "Oh it's Nubia. Neat."
I'll say that I think this is fine as is. Most games free to play or otherwise get a character a season or every other season. Also I don't think any of us really would be fond of learning 5 new matchups EVERY season. That'd get overwhelming quickly.
@BPlusEfforts Yes but they're going the opposite. 2 at a time feels too dry. Especially when they go with obscure characters. As I said, The PPG will be the stars of this season. Nubia isn't like Beetlejuice was to Samurai Jack, titans in their own right. There needs to be at least 3. Doesn't have to be more than 3 per season, but it also damn sure shouldn't be less.
It doesn’t make it any better since The Rowdyruff Boys also competely overshadow Nubia if the Girls weren’t enough, and The Ruffs are the most popular villains in the show (I’m not joking. Look up the amount of Fanfics, Edits, Fanart, etc. it’s more than MoJo and HIM combined)
@@PrinceAliTheGreatest Precisely. They need a 3rd character. Rumor has it that either Marceline or Raven might show up for Halloween. Either of those would definitely overshadow Nubia. Also, I did not know that about the RRB, but I guess it makes sense... Though the funniest part is that they're only in what... 3 episodes of the show?
I think the main problem isn't with characters. It's because they don't have any other alluring content. We don't care for rifts, they don't have a story mode, or any other run game mode that isn't PVP. Games like APEX Legends,, Halo Infinite, Overwatch 2, the Finals, have a bunch of different game modes to keep players entertained. If we got story chapters that had competitive high score or speedrun leaderboards that people could optimize builds for? That'd be sick. We could really cook if they wrote out a story with some good cutscene camera work to get people invested in rifts. All of this has nothing to do with new characters. It's just that characters are the easiest thing to push as an attention grabber. People won't much care for skins if the main way to get them is grinding modes people hate to play.
They really need to add in more single player modes. That was the one edge Rifts had back in Season 1, but now they need to start splurging on more of them
Fine, I'll return to the game once they are release, but if it still has the character balance issue with some characters still having the same 0 to death combos, and if the PvE is still the same BS grind fest, I'm quitting again unless Jack Black Minecraft Steve from the Minecraft movie is a playable character. (The movie is being made by WB so there is a chance.)

Well I'll be transparent with you. My positive titles usually resonate with 90-250 views. So on a business end this generates clicks and leads to a healthier comment section discussion. However we cannot dismiss the fact that a large portion of creators, players, and people who loved the game at one point have left in large quantities. While it's sad that it came to that it is what it is. Do I think the game Is "DEAD" of course not. However I think if season 3 ended up being a FLOP that would be crushing for the games future as a whole. Now from what they've showcased over the past 5 days, I think the game will be in a solid spot for a while. I think some people are too over the top with their "hatred" of the game. I try to take a realistic lense to it all and not just have my opinion be the only valid one. I take into account the overall climate of friends, social media, and the totality of public opinion. And with that said a lot of those who I knew played a bunch during the beta and at launch have dropped the game cold turkey.
Unfortunately money. However with 20 bucks you can get a lot if you spend it on the battle pass. As long as you complete half of the pass you make like 7 bucks in currency and if you complete it every season. You basically have infinite battle pass simulator.
I think Ben would be FIRE! I'm just worried about which version of Ben they'll pick. Also, there's no way we're getting all the aliens, but I truly hope the original set is in full effect.
I've said this before World of Light is not something I liked personally. However, even though it was less repetitive & and significantly less grindy. As for the gameplay loop of Ultimate that aren't just online or WoL: Classic Mode MOB Smash, Cruel, All-Star, and Century Smash. Stage Builder Home Run Contest Fighters Unlockable without a significant grind The ability to play with items on/off As much as I don't care for items, they definitely spice up a lot of the casual audience's experience. World of Light also has significantly better presentation than Rifts but the gameplay loop is indeed comparable. However the Spirit Battles are SIGNIFICANTLY better than anything rifts has provided IMO. Even so Smash has so much more to it than Multiversus probably ever will.
Not hyped. Unless the skins in the battlepass are the best they ever done. I might just pass this season. Ppg does not look like a fun character to fight against for 2 weeks.
