I dont get something, why whenever someone wins a match just throws themselves out of the map? I mean, is it jus to humiliate the opponent or something, cause i dont get it
0:33 i hit that one yesterday. All i need is a proper training mode to figure things out defensively and the game'll have me locked back in Also, that projectile shield she gets from rhythm stacks disables Marvin's kit. Makes it so much easier too fight against zoners
Superman is a tank with bruiser qualities so approach with caution. In the same way Garnet is a Bruiser with tank qualities and is more approachable with the the roster. Especially the faster/ just mash the same buttons characters’ , but when I make mix ups with Garnet its so satisfying she feels so viable now and I love the projectile shield perk on her Rhythm ability. It can bubble Jerry when Tom shoots him on the rocket and now that it has 3 stacks it blocks more projectiles with the shield you get. I just wish it bubbled Bug’s Safe or Rocket
Idk about overtuned, but she's dangerously close to being that. I said it in the last Garnet video, they have to be VERY careful on what they do with this character.
as a resident 1.0 patch hater i have to admit the devs cooked. The air to ground changes made ALL the difference for me. no longer do I feel like i'm floating around accidentally, I've got so much more control of my character. also ppgs are one of my favorite designs in the game. suddenly have hope for the future of the game, I hope they continue to make sweeping system changes and keep the humility to admit when things don't land (and not be afraid to revert).
I can definitely say movement is very crisp. Not quite where I want it to eventually be, but a significant improvement. I like the gradual approach to the changes. The Powerpuff Girls showed me that the dev team isn't afraid to get creative and take risks. Also them giving Garnet a new perk and other character new moves tells me they understand its OK to evolve characters kits. I respect that.
Congrats Garnet Mains, We are victorious Crystal gems, this perk no joke is one of the best perks garnet now has , and she just overall has better movement now, what a season
She is a lot of fun now. 90% of the stuff in this video she could do since season 1, its just that a lot of it only worked 20% of the time. They just made her more consistent which in any competitive game, "Consistency is king". Now that the moves work 95% of the time and hitboxes are mostly reliable for her, it feels so much better. #NoMoreClapWhiffs
B+ Effort: Doubts a certain ability or stage hazard B+ Effort 5 seconds later: Doubted subject secures him a stock Moral of the story, doubt yourself more lol
She could but a lot of her hitboxes were inconsistent. They changed that this patch. I couldn't stand playing her before because you'd get different results for the same situation too many times. Also clap (secondary Up special) whiffing 75% of the time was PAINFUL.
It definitely got me back when the PPG came back and the fact a hour or 2 ago I had a streamer mad at me cus I beat him in a rank 2v2 I tried to show him good sportsmanship by saying ggs and then he started cussing me out bad and in the end I said stay mad and reported and blocked him. His twitch is Zombiee_TTV.
This season is crazy good and ur content too man, i donno how u cook with no time i play a lot and i cant cook with PPG Pd: dont say morty is broken he is not the thing is now he work in the air as intended and his jab is true thats IT
Firstly, thanks I appreciate that. As for learning characters the easiest way for me to learn is to use the universals. If you look at a lot of my jab setups in my videos I do stuff that translates well to EVERY character in the game. I might make a video about my process for that. Also I got a Morty video ready to drop on Monday so we'll see!
@@BPlusEfforts i do that too almost all my roster Is in level 7 But some characters are weird to me i just do it to know the weak spots for everyone And im looking frd to that video i love ur Morty Gameplay
5:38 i think supermans annoying move is still his up tilt like its ridiculous how even when it ain’t charged and already comes out super fast he still gets the superarmor of it
Massive YES on the hammer nerf. It's still dumb how the forward hammer swing also hits backwards (I know hitbox issues are a common complaint with Multiversus, but this one is obnoxiously glaring)
Harley's hammer is honestly something I'm not sure you can ever balance. They really have to get rid of the backswing hitbox, its too big and too active.
Bro I’m gonna be honest if I was in Catwoman or WW’s dms and they got mad they just gonna have to live with that or take me out bc you seen them? On a serious note yes the PPG got some crazy combos and yes Batman and Superman are broken or at least very good now.
I woldn't say they "cooked" with this update. They did some good, did some bad and it ultimately feels pretty much the same to me. Feels weird that the balanced characters were to only ones to really get buffs, while the bad characters didn't get much and the good characters got minor nerfs. I don't have any complaints or prasies the games still as fun as its always been.
@@jonathanchavez8881 I read the entire thing. I'm curios what made the game so different. Just some momentum changes, which is cool, but it didn't shake the core of the game or anything just added some new combo/approach routes.
@@jonathanchavez8881 rehaul isn't a word, but if you mean overhaul, this isn't that. They shouldn't look to overhaul he game, just make the game we have already even better. Which is what they did, slight changes that add a little variety to matches but doesn't change the game fundamentally.
I like the fact that a lot of the mid and lower tiers were able to get more consistent access to the rest of their kits. Garnet, Jake, Rick, Morty, Reindog, and Stripe being BIG winners. While most of the top tiers weren't neutered, they still get to be strong just toned down. I prefer a gradual approach like this. Its definitely on the right path if they stay consistent down this route. In terms of balance decisions I'd say they cooked but, as far as making MultiVersus this Top 1 Game or living up to that "Fighting Game of the Year" award they won... They're going to have to add some really good modes, collectables, and a story that the players can get INVESTED in before we talk about real "COOKING". Cause otherwise we just have a pretty fun platform fighter, which is fine but doesn't make waves in the overall gaming landscape.
tbh this game is turning into a R6 situation where whenever i just get used to the mechanics of the game it changes completely in the next season. And now, I dont play siege anymore lol
@@BPlusEfforts Thanks. I will say. Steven did feel like he had more potenial. so i might come back to derp with him for batman stuff then take off again until season 4. If there is one.
My top 25 Superheroes: 1. Batman 2. Wolverine 3. The Incredible Hulk 4. Iron Man 5. Superman 6. Spider-Man 7. Green Lantern 8. The Flash 9. Captain America 10. Thor 11. Wonder Woman 12. Green Arrow 13. The Powerpuff Girls 14. The Incredibles 15. Optimus Prime 16. Cyborg 17. Phoenix 18. Professor X 19. Cyclops 20. Aquaman 21. Martian Manhunter 22. Black Panther 23. Black Widow 24. War Machine 25. Falcon
batman deffo got buffed to much, his hitbox is just stupid and his attack speed is just like an on going barrage of punches that only ends when you get rang out
Personally season 3 has been a good change . They kind of went back to the combat in beta slightly. Very slightly. I do hope they get it to be a bit more fluid and allow more true combos with certain characters. Harley for example I think has lost a lot of her mobility in exchange for better hit boxes? Idk. PPG is a great addition tho and they are pretty balanced . Strong to fight with and not overly broken to fight against honestly. This season has me excited for the future
I think it’s great PFG keeps tweaking the core system of the game. Keeps things fresh and addresses player pain points. Also shows they’re actually trying and putting in effort. Anybody who thinks this game is doing anything but growing soon is on the wrong side of history.
Dude, I have been LOVING season 3 so far. Like, Wonder Woman got a reasonable Nerf, but nothing crazy, Powerpuff Girls are here, Garnet's actually PLAYABLE?! Sure, Player First may have gone overboard with a few of the buffs, but I have zero doubts this game will be great by the time they're done updating this work of art. Go PFG!!!
The people who unironically thought the game was "Dead" when most of us can get matches in less than 10 seconds of queue times no matter what playlist we chose always confused me. Like MK isn't dead and it takes me longer to find matches in MK1 than it does MVS.
