Fun fact about the Pre-Alpha player model, Tinybuild just used the neighbor's model and changed the head for their design, which is also why he shares the animations of the neighbor
@@watchmangames2337 They Had To Save Resources, Thats Why The Body Is The Neighbor With His Animations, But The Head Was Completely Changed With Limited Resources.
Pre alpha man has the same animations as the neighbor like the jumping animation and the running animation the the full realease and it is cool how they let you see the character because it felt lifeless without hands. Nice video explaining him though!
@@doodythereal From what I know, in the pre-alpha's files you can find 2 seperate voicelines for the pre-alpha man, one having him say "Help" and the other having him say "Hello?" so you're half right.
i love how you have a great knowledge about hello neighbor always discovering many things i also know a lot of things about hello neighbor i am training to be like you as a great hello neighbor player
I actually beleived before the full game came out that the thing (Or the shadow as he was called then) was the pre alpha man that the neighbor murdered and was haunting him in Alpha 1 (as the player) and later in alpha 3, and 4
Honestly, Act 1: "pre-alpha man" tries to get into the basement, dies (or gets locked in) Act 2: Nick (who just moved in) sees that the previous owner went missing, tries to get into the basement, succeeds Act 3: Because someone succeded getting in, the house fucking stops existing and they have to get out
@@SpringDavid Yeah it would be an interesting theory for Alpha 2 in the original hello neighbor game if the pre-alpha man either dies or gets locked in and the other player takes his place.
@@unstrungbeauty7208 i would love a mechanic that you achieve after freeing pre alpha man and being to switch from nicky to pre alpha man with a keybind. they both have their own unique ability, for pre alpha man, he can run insanely faster than nicky, for nicky, he can fight back against the neighbor if he were to be caught like in the final game.
Actually I think that the Pre-alpha man is Alpha 1 man. The Alpha 1 unused player model can be seen in the ModKit, he looks like the neighbor but untextured and with different arms. He has a blue sweater on and in one of the early official Hello Neighbor arts you can see the Pre-alpha man's shoes which are blue too. Also he got cancelled along with the first version of the lore, alpha 2 is called "Hello Neighbor: Reborn" the title proves it. I don't even know why am I writing this comment it's almost meaningless.
@@Intelligent-Guy they probably disabled the body so the player camera can’t see but the neighbor can, it’s a really common thing u can do so u don’t need to animate the whole body
The neighbor never swore in any released build, but in the announcement trailer/prototype, we heard him swear. In the filed for Pre-Alphayou can find all the audio files of him 🤬. Plus, the neighbor's swearing audio can be found in the files of alpha 1, 2, 3, 4 , beta 1-3 and even the full game.
if you read the removed plot to hello neighbor from Nikita Kolesnikov, the main character of the pre-alpha was named Harold and his neighbor Jack. After the plot was removed and completely changed.
pre alpha man has a player model in one of the games but it was never used he was also meant to have a blue shirt, brown hair, blue shoes and i think red pants.
@@FunnySkeleton10 well that too i was talking about a painting in game of the neighbor and of someone else it is above the neighbors couch in the pre alpha. It was removed in alpha 3 from the game entirely.
Theory: the shadow guy in Hello Neighbor which basically haunts the neighbor (you can find shadow guy in hello neighbor full game) is probably the Shadow man because it isn't afraid of the Neighbor and all ways after the Neighbor
I think it’s the Neighbor or a clone or maybe a brother of the Neighbor because he runs the same way as the Neighbor jumps the same way and as intelligent as the neighbor
My Theory: The Pre-Alpha Man is not the Full Release Player, & he's in the Full Released Version, He's not the Player, Instead he's the Shadow Man seen in the Nightmares of the Guy
Guys the original games we where gonna he the neighbors son as shown in some really old achievements that were removed a long time ago and it would make sense cause we looked like him and in the old story he was trying to keep the stuff in the basement secret not hide his son after killing his daughter in the full release and hello neighbor hide and seek!
The reason why he jumps so weird is because it’s the neighbors body and the neighbor only jumps when he breaks through a window so the animation is him jumping through a window
Why does everybody hate Nicky so much he survived being kidnapped and got over some sort of phobia and has superpowers. And ngl pre alpha man did just randomly try to break into a guys house and go in his basement I mean who wants some random guy in your basement?
The only difference is that the Pre-Alpha man's idle is a still frame from the original idle. And in the Pre-Alpha AI Rundown, the idle animation is seen (the neighbor doing it). (Wait, why am I writing this?)
In the trailer the devs were playing the version and the fact it actually depends on us, and in the gameplay of the pre alpha too, even if the devs did change the sounds in the gameplay
you can see the pre-alpha man model inside the game files with an unreal engine viewer, even though it's just a simple model with no texture, a bit similar to the neighbor.
The story about the pre alpha man is that his house was cross the dirt road I guess anyway his house was in the back in the prototype we do not see his car but I guess he moved in the pre alpha house we see when we play the pre alpha game and wait also this is why it’s edited because when we go to a prototype mod in hello neighbor we see the pre alpha man’s car driving by but we’re the pre alpha man in the prototype mod edit again when we get caught a lot of times in a prototype mod we see the pre alpha car crashed into the fence
The bad thing though, is that he is depicted as a shadow. But the official HN fandom site *supposedly* shows a "3d model" of him. He runs just like the Neighbor. Good thing that the pre-alpha man appears as 3d in that one fan game 5:19
He will never be Aaron they didn't even know if the neighbor was going to have kids and pre alpha man is a normal guy and he doesn't even know who the neighbor is at the beginning of the game so he won't ever be Aaron
You need to reach the Pre-Alpha Neighbor House Rusty Key Variant for the Binoculars to spawn (Or quickly grab them during the brief period all 5 variants are loaded in at once.). Either wait for the Nightmare sequence, or use Rusty Key to remove the Basement Keylock from the Basement Door and then end the run & start a new one (Either by getting caught or sleeping.).
People are talking about the pre alpha man and not the 2014 devgamm player. So the 2014 devgamm player was only shown in one video. If you search up that video you can see that the player is different from all the playable characters. So the player has a empty house with no furniture. The only thing the player brought was binoculars. You can see him wear gloves because its a snowy day. Now lets talk about his abilities. The 2014 devgamm player has slow reflexes as he barely reacts to the neighbor. The player is very slow. The slowest from all the characters in the game. But he is very strong he can move a furniture with only one hand. Similar to pre alpha man, the player also comes up with creative ways. But never thought of whats gonna happen in the future. Unfortunately, the game is not canon. Meaning that it is not playable. Unless, you play the remastered.
@@Intelligent-Guy In Hello neighbor alpha 1's files you can find a unused player model with textures meaning in alpha 1 pre alpha man was gonna return, and with textures Edit: I typed P by mistake
@@Intelligent-Guy probably in Alpha One his shadow is an invisible but maybe he got buried alive alive one because the neighbour blocked the pre-alpha man to go in the basement so was then a new character came
It all makes sense.. Pre-Alpha man is the person who knocks you out in the end of HN2, and this game is his origin story. Pre alpha man had just moved into his house, when he heard his favorite TV show playing from across the road, the beautiful "RRING DING DALM", he visited his neighbor's house, only to find.. the neighbor didn't want him to watch :( his new mission was to break into the basement which was heavily guarded, and once he got in there, he'd sneakly watch from the keyhole, days passed as the neighbor slowly bought more items that looked cool to have, but Pre-Alpha man saw better use of them, he eventually unplanked the door, found a blacklight and found the code, found the key, he broke into the basement to see.. absolutely nothing, not even a keyhole he could look through, that is the start of Pre-Alpha man's disent into madness
Theory: this is actually Nicky. According to the games, he is the main protagonist. This is just a first design since they needed a design for act 2’s player model. Here’s another one. Prototype is a sequel. Because in the prototype, the pre-alpha man was buried. It’s unknown about the man but someone called him “Andrew”. There might be a chance Andrew is the shadow man due to both being mysterious. Also for the prototype theory, after Andrew found the basement, he ran and moved. 2 days later the neighbor is back. With a different house. Andrew tried to enter the basement but wasn’t so lucky.
Also the diffrence between the prototype pre alpha man and the pre alpha man is the prototype version doesnt have his hands on his hips when hes standing still go look at the part where he is picking up the hammer you can see his shadow and his hands are just normal so thats the difference
Guys, I have a theory. The Pre-Alpha Man is the first "Victim" of the Neighbor. I also got this thought that the person we're trying to save (but Nicky might not even care, he just wants in the basement) is Pre-Alpha Man. I know, it doesn't make sense. But I feel like that's good enough since the game doesn't really explain it's lore well.
