This idea first appeared in the Ackerman 2004 lecture notes. When I started this channel four years back, I posted that version on RU-vid. This video is an updated handle. The Prequel And The Sequel is a sequence of effects that takes a popular version of the ace assembly and almost makes it impromptu.

What a fantastic card routine. Mr. Ackerman, with Darwin Ortiz and Michael Vincent, you three are my favorite magicians. The recent passing of Mr. Ortiz was very sad news for me. You and Darwin, being the same age as my parents, I hope that you are in good health and that I will continue to have the pleasure of seeing you perform your magic on your RU-vid channel for a very long time. A huge thank you for everything you bring to the art of card magic.

I think every card magician is going to miss Darwin. I believe I will see Michael at the Session convention in mid-January. He is one of my favorite people, too.😊❤️♦️♠️♣️

@@allanackerman4848 Yes. I was very fortunate to have met him when I was 18 in 81. We hit if off and I learned a great deal about how to learn magic and make the presentation as important as the method.

Check out his Sweet DVD, he has a very good version on that video. This routine would not have happened if Chris had not said those words, "let me go get setup."😊
