Dog sitting this week in LA for my daughter's family. Saturday I got the hang with Howard Hamburg, Tony Picasso, Bebel, Koko, and others -- such a great time♣️♠️♥️♦️
really beautiful Allan. It's been years since I have seen you , but your elegant style and perfect handling looks so familiar still! I have a 16 cards to pocket video I would love to share with you ! Andrew Gerard
@@allanackerman4848 I remember learning several versions so nothing I'm doing is original... But I love the effect because nobody effectively ever picks a card. Some of the close-up shows I used to do people have their hands full of martinis or appetizers...lol thanks for taking a look hope you're well.
I'm not sure if he had a no-palm version, but Steve Reynolds does, and it is really fun. I had a one-palm version that I put in the Esoterist. It fooled Marlo; it used the last move in his action palm book twice. When I showed it to Ed back in 1969, he laughed and said, "Fooled by my own move." You can check out another ride on mass transit on RU-vid for an updated version.😊
@@GHOST-qe6fs Thank you - I just got back to Vegas and will look this up. Steve Reynolds has a great no-palm in his book Seek 52 and I have a tweak on his routine in All-In,

Thanks for stopping by and visiting my channel. Most versions of this effect have four palms to complete the effect. By using some ideas of Dave Rumfelt, Brother John Hamman, and myself - this version has zero palms. This uses the last move in Marlo's Action Palm book twice. When I showed it to Ed back in 1969, he thought I used a duplicate. He laughed when I showed him the method and said, "Fooled by my own move."😊
Are you a fan of sleight of hand by Edwin sachs ? You mention his name a lot on your channel so I assume yes but can you tell me why it’s such an important book ?
Yes -- so many classics like ACAAN , Chink-a-chink, etc. There are 5 methods of ACAAN in that book. Still in print after 100+ years - that says something👍
Thanks -- this method was in Genii about a year or so back -- thought it would work well with the Coterie. The only thing I added was the kicker at the end.
I thought this was a more practical m.o. and has no angle problems. Down in L.A. for three weeks, will see the great Howard Hamburg tomorrow at the Magic Apple.
Thanks KoKo. I am dog sitting for two weeks in LA while my daughter and family are in England. Will try and make it to the Castle and Magic Apple this Saturday.
Dans cette effet qui et absolument fantastique quel pile utiliser vous toute vos routines sont vraiment génial bien pensé merci a vous de nous faire partager cest bijoux

The Bannon/Carey Stealth Ace routine is a great assembly. I saw John do the effect in his lecture in November 2019 at the Penguin Day of Magic Convention. It has been in my repertoire ever since. It is a piece of simplistic beauty and elegance. John updated the assembly last year in Genii magazine and put the routine in his book the Queen’s Spirit. This routine works perfectly with S.W.E.’s Exclusive Coterie routine and I added in the kicker of the common folk all turning into the royals. Also, this routine is easy to do from a shuffled deck in use if you execute the Brother John cull as you remove the Queens and twelve red cards. Also, I replaced the Larry West count with the Mirage 2.0 count both moves can be found in the new All-In books. Hello John, down in CA for a couple of weeks. I will get to see Howard next Saturday. Will have a session at the Magic Apple shop by Universal and then to the Castle. Should be great fun. Just started reading the Nth Degree -- glad I got my copy before the fire.
Another banger, Al. Curently learning Prequel and Sequel from All In! :) Is there a forum where I can ask a couple of questrions about the book? Specifically why certain moves are chosen in certain places. :)
More to come!. Was on the road for a couple of weeks, worked the Chicago Magic Lounge and did a lecture. Now in CA for two weeks. Going to be a busy summer.👍 Glad you liked the routine.
Ed had several versions and some good thinking, I like this version as the cards never go out of view. If you place them all the way into your pocket, then the cards need to be signed.👍

Jack Carpenter and Steve Reynolds inspired me to work on this effect. For this last version, I need to thank Dai Vernon for his wonderful utility move and Daryl for his Rising Crime addition. The routine is just a few years old, and I am sure the handling will change as I get more performance time. For contact information, check www.allanackerman.com.
