This liturgical song was composed by Mr. David Haas. It is appropriately sung during Communion, especially on days where the Sacrament of the Eucharist & the invitation of the Lord to come to him are pointed in the Readings and liturgies. Rendering this song is the Hangad Music Ministry, the original recording artist from their first studio album in 1998 (“Hangad”). Credits to the Parish of the Holy Sacrifice Facebook Page (UP Diliman) for the original video recording of the whole Mass.
“Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you. Whoever eats* my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him.” (Jn. 6:52-56)
