okay, a lot of people might disagree or get upset to what I am about to say but here it goes, you guys, Solenn, Anne Curtis, Erwan, and other half Filipinos people had it easy to become famous here in the Philippines because you guys look Western, come on, lets be real here guys, us Filipinos are so well fed by these western standards through media over the years, especially the standards of beauty, looks like Anne Curtis, Solenn or Liza Soberano, they could easily get the attention from Filipino fans because that is what we see as someone beautiful or someone we idolize from TV, movies or other medias, it's like seeing your favorite western actors but they are local and you see them on local TV, that's why its very easy for these half-pinoys to penetrate through Philippine Showbusiness, or get that celebrity Status. I'm not saying it's their fault, NO!, im just saying these guys had it easier than those who look like a typical Filipino where you need to have atleast 2-3 different talents in order to prove yourself and be able to get that celebrity status, whereas when you are Pretty/Handsome or has a western look or fit to the modern beauty standards, a few talents would already do you good, and just enhance and learn it more through workshops. Don't you see it guys? a lot of our celebrities here in the Philippines are Half-Pinoys, our 2 recent miss universe title holders are both half pinoys. just my two cents, your reactions are very much welcome.

Some people might just know him as “boyfriend of Anne Curtis” and “brother of Solenn”, but people will get to know him more through his Vlog. If only Erwann can speak tagalog and want to be a celebrity, he has so much potential to become a famous Hearthrob or Matinee Idol with his looks and personality. 😊

You'd really want to listen to a person who talks a lot of sense and Erwan is the standard of content creation.

yes, I subscribed in his channel not because of him, but because of his amazing content. I even subscribed to him first before I did with Anne. He's very smart and connected to the community/food etc.. that he's presenting.

Erwan always keep it real, and people love him for that… I loved that he worked hard to be where he is now when it was so easy for him to be famous because of Anne, but he never wanted that, he wanted to be known for his work. I have been a fan of Anne way before they got together, but he totally earned my respect by doing his own thing and never ever want to be known just for being Anne’s boyfriend/husband. 🥰♥️

It is really hard sometimes with filipino culture when it comes to comparison between siblings or even with cousins. Being a mom of two boys, ( they are completely opposite yet they compliment each other). I keep reminding my relatives when I hear a little comparison to knock it off. I went through that my entire life and there is no way my sons will go through that. Let them be their own person, don't guilt trip or make them feel less of a child because the other sibling is doing something and great at it.

I say go wherever your talent takes you. Erwan has talent in cooking and making content and that is what he is known for. I respect the dude that he doesn't want to take on showbiz or take on the spotlight. I would too if I were in his shoes. It gives him a bit more freedom going out without getting that much attention than an actual celebrity does. Much to say with our local celebs who may have the looks, but character and talent often goes out the door. I love Erwan and the knowledge in cooking that he shares with everyone. That's more than enough exposure to love the guy.

No filter = toxic Filipino culture lol. I always wondered why us Filipinos are so judgmental regarding looks. There is always something to be said about one’s looks whether it be skin color, height, weight, etc. This can be really toxic, and it can really effect one’s mental health especially a child. Hearing how you experienced this as well, you should think about making a video about it.

I look up to few content creator Filipino men... Erwan is one of them... yep indeed, INTEGRITY BABY! (That says it all).

I lived in Europe for almost 3 years. What we consider beauty is just an ordinary and nobody to them. In my early days in the country there was a time I was waiting for a bus in a station, a garbage man came and fetch the bin and ohh he looks so handsome for me despite the dirt in his uniform and I couldn't take my eyes away from him. Once I was in a drugstore to buy my medicine and I was amazed by the lady at the counter who looked so beautiful for me and I can't help but really admire her. But then later of my stay I came to realize that their looks is just so ordinary in that country and nothing to be amazed at all. We Filipinos are still under the influence of colonial mentality which was instilled to us by our ancestors that meztiza looks has the power and beauty in the society. If we could only realized that from other people we have a unique physical identity which they call it charm and beauty. If you ask a black citizen or what we call negro (which is politically incorrect term), these people normally do not consider white people or mestizo as beautiful. They'd rather chose physically beautiful those come from their own race. It's our culture orientation that need to be fixed.

You're the only famous person here who didn't have to model first - of course he didn't have to, Anne Curtis was his girlfriend (now wife) and Solenn is his sister. They were the IT girls at that time (still are i guess) I remember people being so curious about Erwan because everyone heard that he is Solenn's brother so medyo gossip girl pa ang drama. Lol. Also for him to say like sorry but I didn't feel the need to join pbb to be famous. I agree a lot of people are not into that but what you said was uncalled for why feel the need to be pa cool all the time. Precisely because Erwan is goodlooking, somehow because of Anne’s popularity the attention initially shifted on him for some reason out of curiosity, of course its in out culture to be. But Erwan , in many levels have broken the norm. i kinda get his Narrative that he does not wnat to be known as just that and he did a good job being himself. So genuine and Intelligent.

A few years ago, I was on the same flight to Paris with Anne and Erwan, he’s not friendly at all. Anne was very approachable, and Erwan was frowning the whole time. He’s rude and conceited. I’ve met Chris Pratt and Henry Cavill at LAX and they were way more approachable than Erwan.

Actually you don't look filippino at all, you look like a Pakistani. On another note, the pressure he felt dating Ann Curtis is all on him, unfortunately for him the videos the recipes using her celibrity status didn't work. There is no pressure in loving Ann nor would she as a wonderful beautiful lady place you in such pressure. Again unfortunately it is plain to see, he never loved Ann.
