I'm a 60 year old guy and this band freaking ROCKS!! Not many " modern£ rock bands kick it like the Pretty Reckless!! Great musicians and Taylor has a killer voice. I only found out about them about a year ago and it was here on youtube. Hope to see the band rockin' for years on down the road!
One of the most underrated bands around. The band is tight and the guitarist is incredible. Taylor has one of the most incredible voices out there! TPR rocks
The music of this band has a great tone and beat. As a person of 61 years. I still enjoy finding music that has been written that tells a story. Heaven Knows does that. Thank You the members of... The Pretty Reckless.👍
Shit man.... I wish I could remember. It's possible I was just way too high to be commenting. But clearly I heard some David Gilmour influence somewhere 😂 certainly doesn't mean that you are a Floyd fan
#MarkoRollo ... I just came across this song, never heard of them. Good song, my question though, you said SHE , very deep manly voice while talking and I see no, notta, none tits. So is it really a female or a very beautiful transgender? Doesn't matter to me but since I have no clue who they are is why I'm asking. So thanks in advance for some info on this person and band from whom ever may answer me. ❤️
@@terriunderwoodmeredith2452 I know you're just looking for attention with silly questions you already know the answer to but I'll bite, Taylor Momsen, she is very much all woman, she was an actor before getting into singing, you may remember the movie the Grinch with Jim Carrey? She's the little blond girl in that, and was in the TV series Gossip Girl. I don't remember the song title but there is one song where you hear her 'girl voice' you can't do rock with that voice all the time, many female rock singers have what you might refer to as manly singing voices.
Great Video - I'm 58 yrs old and know nothing about todays new rock with women Singers. I have 1100+ albums, 100+ 8 tracks, 300+ cassettes, hundreds of CD's, and tens of gigs of music - Rock & Blues - 60's to now, and the only female rock singers I have is Heart and a few stand-in singers for other groups. I just discovered this group today along with "The Pretty Reckless", and holey shit ! these bands really kick ass.
He's freaking incredible, only audio engineer to ever make me actually love the local House of Blues. He managed to remove all the nasty bass reverb from the 8' balcony overhang that ends up trashing the sound from almost every act that plays there.
starting at at 2:36, it is literally the same guitar from another brick in the wall pt 1 ... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--cfJqYtmmqA.html
How’d they find her? She was a famous actress and model her entire life. She was given a record deal at 15 and looked for a “band”. Not exactly Rock n roll
@Purple dove pretty damn rock and roll to me. She could have gone the pop route easier, she didn't. The songs are tight, she is a great front woman, the band rocks. TPR is for real.
It was certainly impressive and unlike others I've seen. Hendrix, Beck, page, EVH etc. Come to mind among the greatest lead guitarists. I am a fan of those and consider them prodigies.some of my personal faves are the blues rock leadsof Eric Clapton. I really like Frampton's incendiary licks, especially from a 1994 show. Mark Knopfler- his blend of the JJ Cale, country and rock lead styles are haunting and mesmerizing. Bit this guy is unique and did impress. Among blues: Albert King, Otis Rush, BB King, Matt Guitar Murphy (Blues Bros. Ie Sweet Home Chicago).
She is a excellent front women for hard core rock n roll this women hooked me three years ago then she disappeared the lyrics are great I Need to know more about her!
Something I love about this video are the shots of all the young women in the audience. You can sense they feel empowered by Taylor up there being strong, sexy, in charge, and kickass. I really like their music, but the fact she is a symbol for young women growing up makes me love them more.
Taylor is a “One of a Kind” Rocking Little Firecracker. I’ve loved her since the days of fighting all adversity to follow her dream of being a Front Woman for a Kickass Rock Band.. She Won !! Love you Tay and the rest of the band. A TPR Fan for Life! Much Love.. ☮️
@@paulbolton4929 I am a guitar player. Other instruments are optional. One man can sit by a fire and entertain a crowd with a flattop......but not so easy for a bass player or a drummer. Therefore.....i reassert my original comment.
Great, Great, energy, love the way they stay together and seem to have no problems working off of each other. That comes from years of playing live. AWESOME 🎸❤️.
Awesome Dorothy you have no idea how much this song means to me. I go way back been there done that I can relate to every word in this song you guys are all awesome don't change of thing rock hard loud and bring him back what almost died. I'm speechless. Your drummer is well seasoned he's awesome.
Bravo...Bravo! Thanks for sharing. Nice audio for a live! Love it. I especially loved the little girls chiming in with those more harsh lyrics. So damn cute. This is of course a cleaner song than some. I bought Death by Rock n Roll on vinyl, single, after hearing that they had an album in the vault. Was mad they didn't release during covid like so many others. Guess it's time to forgive and forget. Peace. Stay safe everyone. God Speed. RORH 🤘 🦇
closer to another brick in the wall pt 1... Both songs do have the same delayed guitar sound tho to be fair.. but at 2:36 its nearly identical to ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--cfJqYtmmqA.html .. Only difference really is floyd pans the chord changes from left to right
Jimmy's in the back with a pocket of high If you listen close You can hear him cry Oh oh, heaven knows We belong way down below Sing it Oh oh, heaven knows We belong way down below Way down below, way down below Judy's in the front seat picking up trash Living on the dough Gotta make that cash Won't be pretty Won't be sweet She's just in here on her feet Sing it Oh oh, heaven knows We belong way down below Go Oh oh, heaven knows We belong way down below Sing Tell her so We belong way down below Oh oh, tell her so We belong way down below Way down below, way down below Way down below, way down below I've got what it takes, man I see every day I've got a better wise man I know that I worth One, two, three and four The devil's knocking at your door Caught in the eye of a dead man's wife Show you life with your head up high Now you're on your knees With your head down low Big mental, she wear it to go Tell her it's good Tell her okay Don't do a God thing they say Oh oh, heaven knows We belong way down below Oh oh, tell her so We belong way down below Way down below, way down below Way down below, way down below I've got a better wise man I know that I worth I've got what it takes, man I see every day Jenna's in the back with a pocket of high If you listen close You can hear the crying Oh oh, heaven knows We belong way down below Oh oh, tell her so We belong way down below Oh oh, heaven knows We belong way down below Oh oh, tell her so We belong way down below Way down below, way down below Way down below, way down below
I love this song; it rocks as much as anything. It is a "Rebellious Tour de Force". With that said .... I cannot help but smile when they all sing together "Don't do a Goddamn thing they say". It reminds me of the same humor when listening to live versions of "Killing in the Name of" when the audience all sings in unison "F@%$ You I won't do what they tell me!" Thousands of people standing up to the man singing what the lead singer tells them too ...
