@@iwanaGoFast2010 why is it necessary to yuck someone else's yum? I don't care if you didn't like it, you don't need to shit on someone's positive post
Never saw this episode, this is the 6,000th episode and it would be the last time Bob Barker hosted his 6,000th show, and he remains three years until he left in 2007. Roger Rose was a guest announcer for this episode where he was filling in for Rich Fields.
Musicradio77 Television Network Actually this episode aired before Rich was picked. Rich's first day aired March 8, 2004, a week after the 6000th Episode. Roger was in the rotation of announcers following Rod Roddy's passing.
After 6000 shows, there are STILL contestants who are unable to present their own bids! If you decide to attend a game show like TPIR, and you know NOTHING about the cost of certain merchandise, don't attend.
This will forever be a memorable episode next to the 5000th episode! Thanks for the full episode in great quality! Do you happen to have any primetime special episodes as well?
I just realized - she should have had $3 left...she had 5, guessed 5, missed by one...so one for the missed number, and one to buy the car...and three dollars might have bought a gallon of gas in 2004...I know 2008 was horrible, over $4 a gallon in L.A.
@Mr. Aaron Ladner, in fact, I must tell you that: only the LORD All-Powerful knows how only this retired "The Price Is Right" game show host Bob Barker can answer that [though still, I never wish for any humans, (including Barker) to have poor eyesight or need of glasses at all]!
I was going to ask why those Disney World Hopper Passes didn’t include entry to the Animal Kingdom, but I think I figured that out myself while I was typing this…
Nobody pointed this out, but when the DisneyWorld package was offered, Animal Kingdom was omitted for the Hopper Passes or tickets at all probably due to that particular park having captive animals.
There was an episode in 2015, the April Fool’s episode. Drew was announced to come out but Bob did instead, to the crowd’s great roar. The first person George Gray called down was Mary DaMoude, sweet just like Amy. Like Amy, Mary won the first pricing game and like Amy, Mary got to play Lucky Seven. And Mary did even better than Amy did - she guessed the second number straight on, was off by one number on the third number, and - guessing five for the fourth number - got it exactly right. Whereas Amy had $5 left and could miss it by as much as 4, Mary in 2015 had $6 left and could miss it as much as 5 either way and still win. Amy’s was a sports car; Mary’s was a SUV. Both ladies chose 5 as their last number. Both were off by just one number, winning their cars. Remarkable players and sweet people.
They used it originally for the Million Dollar Spectaculars when a car was offered and Michael Karp composed it. It eventually transitioned into a regular car cue.
I really wanted David to win that Ford Taurus! It matched his shirt and hair. He probably would have kept good care of it and the car was an old school 6 seater. Then he looses the showcase sadly too in a draw. Although based on odds, he should've known at the time the first number for the car price $21k.
So when I did the first show other 302nd year, that gentleman said, came out and talked like he did in this episode. Excepting that when he took the microphone completely away from Bob. I didn’t notice in this one however, Bob is not letting that microphone go lol, when he took it away from him and that one episode, Bob, had this look like what in the world are you doing. But then he struck Bob’s ego and told him the truth about how awesome he is and Bob was OK with it. This is one of those shows that you put on when you’re not feeling good or you need something to just listen to. You’re in Bob Barker and the show is like inviting no friends in your home. So I get what city is talking about here. Drew Carey will never be Bob Barker. He just does not have the leader ship, the charisma, the magnetism, or the ability to make people actually really wanna watch him. I was really hoping his time as host would be short. Unfortunately, we’re still stuck with him..
56:43 I wonder if Drew Carey is gonna say “Help control the Pet Population, have your pets spayed or neutered” which was Bob Barker’s line when Season 52 of “The Price Is Right” kicks off on WBNS 10TV!🤔
Not to be on anyone's case, but how was Maxine supposed to get her travel trailer home if she didn't win that car? Did she at least have her own car to attach it to when all was said and done?
32:00 Oh my goodness to make matters worse for Mr. David he just missed the showcase with a tie at the wheel $0.75, respun and got $0.05: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bUp0UzoXL44.html A Buick Century would have been passed down to him too in the showcase! Very similar sedan just like the Taurus he missed. That guy has no luck at all : (
If you had to depend on other people for transportation because you DIDN'T have a car and you go on that show to WIN a car, yeah, you'd probably lose your mind too!
I WONDER SID VINNEY IS GOING TO BE ON THE 48TH SEASON OF THE PRICE IS RIGHT WITH DREW CAREY & MAYBE BOB BARKER I BET SOME WERE IN GAME SHOW HEVEN RODY RODDY & JONNY OLSON ARE WATCHING FROM UP ABOVE GIVING TWO THUMBS UP
