R.I.P., Robert William Barker...December 12th, 1923 - August 26th, 2023. Thank you for over five decades of television memories, Sir. Mr. Barker is terribly missed already. 😢
i don't miss him, good riddance, because with him being gone now it won't annoy me anymore with the decision he made in 1987 to turn his hair to gray which really annoyed me, fuck bob barker.
For the person who said that he don,t miss Bob Barker because he was pissed 😡 off because Bob let his hair go gray 37 years ago & who also said F--- BOB BARKER!!-- FROM OF ALL US LOYAL FRIENDS AND TRUE OF THE LATE BOB BARKER & LATER ON WITH DREW CAREY-- "F YOU !!" "DON,T EVER GROW OLD & DON,T YOU EVER GET GRAY HAIRS ON YOUR HEAD!!
No he isn't. He suffered some strokes and had some fall so he's confined to a wheelchair for the remainder of his days and he's pretty much homebound. Then again he is 99
I wish the Price is Right Channel (Bob Barker Era) would extend all the way from 1971 to when he retired. The early 80s were great but it is nice seeing him at different points in time.
First off, RIP to both as they were both wonderful individuals and will be greatly missed. But you're factually incorrect. They're dead. Meaning they died. Meaning their blood no longer flows and they no longer breathe. They didn't float away invisibly to some magical place. Please grow up, your petulant mindset is holding us all back.
@@girthehuman7853 Please don't incorrect me. I'm unequivocally aware of the definition, thank you! It's childish to irrationally worship invisible entities for which there is no evidence.
This is a gut wrenching dose of nostalgia. Watched this with my grandma in Kansas City decades ago. I'm 33 now and haven't seen an episode of Price is Right in probably 15 years or more...
+Maurice Cooper seriously! I mean, probably a nighttime show in either vegas or new york, balloons and confetti go down, and if he could handle it, probably end the show with a bang with a grand fireworks display.
This is great, I took the opportunity to go see TPIR live about 2 weeks before Bob retired. I'd like to see Bob and one really big cake for 90 this December
It’s been a great yearly tradition on RU-vid to remember how long it’s been, since our TPIRGOAT (The Price is Right’s Greatest of All Time) host, Bob Barker, turned 80 years old, and remember all those vintage commercials and CBS shows, and even old prices of all prizes and merchandise! As we celebrate Barker’s 99th birthday, today, he will need just ONE MORE PENNY, and he’ll then turn into $1.00 on the Big Wheel! All it takes is just one more spin, and he’ll finally get there! Right now, Bob, enjoy your 99¢ worth, and let’s get that next penny! Happy Birthday, Mr. Bob Barker! 🎂
thanks for posting....nice catcing up on mid 90s-early 2000s tpir...i stopped watching around 1991 then came back shortly before bob's retirement., great seeing the shows i missed during those years...
Best Game Show to watch growing up as a kid! My Friend Michelle once told me she had the chance to actually go and play one year on a family trip to California and won a prime but couldn't pay the tax🤣🤣🙏🏿 We laughed so hard because it was the experience that was priceless!! Long live Bob Barker!! God bless all his loved ones.🙏🏿🙏🏿❤
Thank you for the episode of Bob Barker's 80th Birthday in amazing quality! Looking forward to more episodes if you have some available. God Bless You!
Did you know that Betty Marion White was born on January 15th, 1922, and passed away at the age of 99 on December 31st, 2022?!!!!!!!!!!!!! She will be missed!!!!!!!!!!
Happy birthday Bob and Michael! I hope his birthday party went well. Also, this was a fantastic special! All the tributes for Bob were adorable. Congrats to Grandma Ruth for winning $6,000 on the Big Wheel, and Tracy for spinning a dollar on the wheel and winning a Cadillac, in addition to the Chrysler Concord you won on Push Over! Hopefully, Bryce had a good education and a lot of focus to graduate!
The Legendary Bob Barker is the Greatest Game Show Host of all-time. He'll be missed so much he passed before he hit the Century mark of 100. He earned all my respect.
+Melissa Hawn right on all points! I was like a lot of people, I jumped on the "drew's gonna suck" bandwagon, until i gave drew a fair chance. Yes, he's no bob barker, but he's got his own little way of keeping the show fun and entertaining. He keeps this up, and this is gonna be on for a while! I like that fact that it's still on, as this is the only real good daytime show that's on. The rest is just that Jerry/maury crap IMHO. The only thing I'd like to see make a comeback, is those classic cues. Ya know, they can keep the new ones, but reincorporate the classic cues just to keep that classic style going. Give a little something for everyone, the new stuff for the newer fans, and the classics for the "loyal friend in true." just all my thoughts.
Happy Heavenly belated Birthday Bob I grew up on this show I miss watching it at Granny’s house. I miss y’all so much 😇 RIP to you both. I wish days was like it use to be. Life was so much easier when you all were around
RIP Bob you are so loved! During the 80's when I was a kid my mom used to tell me that who ever was the most excited to go bid was usually the one that would make it up to play and win. Even before the show started they would be watching you! She wanted to go so bad but never got the chance.
RIP Bob the k you for giving us all many many years of the price is right and kicking the crap out of Adam Sandler in happy Gilmore, hilarious 😂 lots of love goin out to your family ❤
Bob just made the Price is Right, it's really that simple. I still remember watching the one contestant a few years ago that got the perfect bid in the showcase showdown and Drew acted like someone just killed his puppy instead of acting like it was one of the best moments in the history of the Price is Right. If Bob was hosting in that moment it would've been over the top just because of how he would've acted like and embraced the moment for what it was.
Actually, there are several different entertainers who made it pass 90 (not to mention) George Burns, Bob Hope, Rosa Albach-Retty, Katherine Hepburn, laine, Barbara Kent, Dorothy Stickney, etc etc.
This episode had a slow start, but a big finish with Tracy having won two new automobiles. 37:15 He'll have fun, fun, fun, 'til his daddy takes the T-bird away!
its so annoying when the commercials aent cut out i love these recordings they are like a time capsul especially the ones from the 70s its amazing they still have the same games on the show even till this day
PIR announcers history are Barker's friends during his 80 & 90th birthday. From 2007-present PIR announcers are Carey's friends. Carey's best friend is the announcer George on the present years. Similar than Marco Antonio Regil, and his best friend: Julio César Palomera. (mexican PIR 2010) and the spanish latín version of Family Feud: 100 Mexicanos/Latinos Dijeron those are their shows.
