@Jessyleppert Rod didn't get *diagnosed* until 2001. It's probably reasonable to assume it had been progressing for some time. Colon cancer is slow moving, which is possibly why it goes unnoticed for so many people.
to my knowledge this happened only once,....back around 1986 or 87 when a monsoon like rainstorm hit and put much of southern california underwater....more than half the audience was empty....
Wonder if his cancer had started to get bad by then. His voice was a topic of discssion on ATGS at the time, but I don't think the public knew he had cancer yet, if he had it diagnosed by then
Ya know, when Three Strikes went to one strike in the bag, I felt they shoulda played the game for normal cars (to compensate for its decrease in difficulty).
